PENGUIN Human Body A Children's Encyclopedia

Bought for a nine year old who has a lot of questions! Too young for a book on puberty but this book contains two pages which are a gentle introduction to the difficult topic of reproduction and male and female reproductive organs. It has prompted more questions but it is a factual and scientific way to broach a difficult subject! The rest of the book is also great, lots of detail. Would definitely recommend.

I love reading this book with my 8 and 4 years old kids. They are highly fascinated by the images and the content is not too difficult to comprehend. We all love it!

I bought this book to take as a gift to a young person (14 years old) in Tanzania who is receiving her education in English but lives in a poor rural area with very limited educational resources. She has ambitions to train as a doctor. I think she will find this Encyclopaedia of great interest and a useful background resource.
