Weird Fit
I'm a woman, trying to find something more comfortable than Keens. Merrell doesn't offer a wide work boot in womens, so I thought I would try this one. The whole boot is bigger, not just the toe area. In addition, the toe is designed kind of weird. I tried 3 different insoles and cinching down the laces but the side of my big toe sits right on the edge, not a problem I have with other boots, these are just designed funky. Lastly, the insoles in these are really horrible. If you end up liking the boot, you will need a different insole in them.

Comfortable work shoe.
Only had them for about a week but sho far, i ordered my usual size 9 and they were a bit big. Not overly or uncomfortably so, but a little big. An 8 1/2 might have been a little too small. Keep in mind when ordering. There was no break in required and they have been very comfortable during my 9 hour work day. As I said, it has only been a week so time will tell, but sho far I like them very much.

Break in time
Not as comfortable as other boots. I'm going back to the other manufacturer. I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks and they still hurt my feet.

Buyers Beware.
Purchased these a couple months ago for work. After the first few weeks I noticed the tread starting to fail with cracks and tears. Now they’re so bad, I’ll need to replace them before winter. I’m a warehouse guy, I’m not doing anything out of the normal. I’m very disappointed with the quality of materials they used in the boots construction. Would not recommend to anyone.

Not recommended
Pretty uncomfortable, it’s the first boot to give me blisters in a long time. The right boot is fine but no matter what I do, the left boot just seems crooked. It’s mostly waterproof although my feet and the inside of the boot were pretty damp at the end of a rainy day. Not my favorite boot, I don’t like the big soul of the boot too, it just feels awkward and too thick.

Pleased so far ....
So far I am pleased with after two days abuse in general construction. The fit is sort of half super comfortable Merrill hiking boot-mixed with the slightly looser composite toe area which is to be expected. The sole of the book seems really rugged and I like comfort inside . my only concern is the mesh choice of fabric between the leather on the outside- I question how much abuse it will be able to handle without shredding... time will tell..

Where is Merrell quality?
I've bought and worn several pairs of Merrell boots and the quality has just gone downhill. Use to get a good three to four years out of a pair. These are 2 months old and already coming apart. Either Merrell's quality has gone way down or these are garbage knock-offs! Either way, I can not recommend these shoes to anyone.

Satisfied
I wear size 13 and they fit absolutely perfect. Not too tight not too loose. Good support. Good tread. They would be the ultimate boot if they had steel eyelets.
