Hard working multipurpose cleaning solution for family with pets
This cleaner is incredible. I got the gallon jug and fill a spray bottle with it to make it easier for everyday handling. A little bit goes a long way. I was hesitant to buy so much but you really don't need much to get the job done. I'm not crazy about the smell but it's not too artificial or overpowering. It's very subtle and does smell like fresh lime. In most cases it smells way better than whatever I'm cleaning up anyway. I originally got it to clean up accidents in the litterbox room after reading great reviews for that purpose. We have three cats, so we run into lots of hairballs, spit up, and urine accidents. It killed the awful cat pee smell (if you've been in a house with cats you are probably unfortunately familiar with that awful ammonia stench) and vomit smells. I have also used it as a diluted mopping solution on my wooden floors to get rid of the built up pet smells. I regularly mop with other solutions like Mr. Clean and Method but they only feel like they get the surface clean and there's always a residual faint pet odor. It's not the best product for finishing your floors because it leaves streaks, but it does get the extra stank out and plus it is not meant to be a mopping solution anyway. Sometimes I will mist it across my fabric sofa to freshen it up and there are no issues with that, but I'm sure it varies between sofa materials. Our sofa is very light beige, almost white, so sometimes we get food or pet stains. I wet a paper towel with this cleaner and totally saturate the spot. I will let it sit for about 30 minutes and then go over it with a handheld carpet and upholstery cleaner. It does a great job taking fresh stains out and will make a good dent in set-in stains. Much better than the upholstery cleaner alone! We also have a busy toddler. I was inspired to write this review because of today's accident. His sippy cup full of whole milk had a leak in it and it flooded the floor of his playpen. I caught it while it was wet and scrubbed it with dish detergent and then rinsed with upholstery cleaner. I thought it was good to go and let it air dry. Once it was finished drying though it had this awful rotten milk smell. I figured I may as well try the Biokleen because I had no other options. I just misted it on and in 30 minutes the smell was totally gone!! Overall, I'm extremely surprised and pleased with the quality of this product. I have used it on a variety of surfaces and fabrics (sealed hardwood, carpet, polyester, luxury vinyl, ceramic tile) with no issues. It is incredibly versatile and I'm going to keep looking for ways to utilize this more, perhaps on food stained clothing or to remove stubborn laundry odors.

The Best thing to Reach For
This brand has never let me down. I even think it may be better than "Oxygen Orange" (though I can't remember what company makes that). But it's the number thing I reach for anytime my kittycat ends up spraying. ...And he's a male to be yet neutered so the smell is soooo strong, at least pretty intense most of the time. Definitely worth the purchase of this Biokleen spray. It takes the stain and smell out very effectively. People complain about the smell of this product, but I don't think it's that bad at all. In fact I like the subtle citrus smell. Its not like it's a scent that lasts forever. I mean, would you rather some great special lime smell, or the smell of strong pungent urine last for all your pet owner days? I truly do recommend this product though, I hate when I run out and won't buy any other product from time and true with this dependability Biokleen has. Give it a try if you haven't.

Recently purchased a new home. It got rid of the pet odor that the professionally steam cleaned floors still had. Very great product. Very pleased with my purchase.

The gift that kept on giving (and tips!)
We had an unfortunate incident while out of town— our pet sitter used the bathroom in our basement bedroom and didn’t close the door to the bedroom all the way. Three of my dogs went into the one room in the house with carpet to lay down and the fourth (and arguably dumbest, bless his heart) closed the door trying to get in with them. Pet sitter went on about her day (my dogs are pretty self sufficient with dog door, automatic feeder and infinite water supply) and fell asleep at her boyfriends blah blah blah long story short we’ll never be calling her again and my dogs were trapped in the basement for god knows how long. A golden retriever, a German shepherd and a Great Dane all with full bellies and a toilet that runs and runs and I’ll let you guess what we returned home to. Thankfully their digestive tracts went easy on us but you may recall me mentioning a toilet that runs…. I don’t know how many gallons of piss were produced but I can tell you I don’t wanna talk about it ever again after this review (and won’t have to thanks to the product in question!) First step was to get rid of the excess urine. Enter: carpet cleaning machine that will never look at me the same way again. Sucked up what I could and then misted some of the dried areas with plain water to get it to suck up again. I suggest for this next part you source some inexpensive white bath towels. I went to the local Wally World and picked up $60 of their $2.97 white towels for this job. Once you get the stickers off of them, toss them in the washer on just a rinse/spin cycle. Take the damp towels and throw them on the carpet and walk all over. For large areas, get creative but the intent here is to weigh down the towels so that they wick up whatever moisture is in the carpet. When the towels are yellow, you have soaked up the majority of the pee. Take those towels and throw them in the wash and wash with hot water and a little detergent— NO BLEACH (not yet). If the towels are absolutely atrocious you can bleach them but they must and I mean MUST be washed again with just plain water after. Bleach is not your friend here. Get a pump sprayer, and start spraying your spots. Soak them. I mean saturate the heck out of them. If you can’t get into the padding, grab one of those turkey injectors and go to town. I have a carpet brush that is for removing dog hair. It’s a silicon bristle on one end and a squeegee on the other. Spread it around, work it in. Now go get those freshly washed damp towels and cover every inch of treated area. Now wait. If the towels dry out, get some water in your sprayer and mist the top. Now wait some more. If it’s wet, the enzymes are doing their thing. If the towels get gross, rinse and repeat. Once the smell is gone, wash those towels real good and then cover again, this time applying pressure to suck up the rest of the cleaner. You can also do a hot water rinse with your carpet machine and cover with towels if it’s real bad. Now for the final and arguably most important step if you ever want your carpet to feel soft again. If you have ever used carpet cleaners, they are incredibly basic. As in the alkalinity of the cleaner is what gives it the ability to lift stains from the carpet. You know how bleach is extra slippery compared to water? Now you understand why your dried carpet feels crunchy and slippery. How do you neutralize it? Well the simple solution is a 50/50 mix of hot water and cleaning vinegar in your carpet machine. The acid will neutralize the cleaner and allow it to be sucked up from the carpet. The only downside to this is that the lime essence that this product will provide will now smell like a pickle factory, but don’t worry. The pickle smell will go away and you’ll have nice soft carpet. Oh, after the vinegar rinse…. Those towels you just cleaned get one more use. Let them soak up as much as that vinegar bath as possible. If you have older carpets it’s possible you’ll get what’s called browning— look for a product called a “Brown Out” on Amazon and that should help. Godspeed!

So much better than natures miracle
I bought this because some friends suggested it online and because they said the hoarder House Cleaner girl on Facebook will only use this kind. We have a new foster dog that has had some accidents and nature’s miracle smells super gross and I’m not really sure it works like it did years ago. The lavender lime scent was lovely and it has worked great so far. Five stars. I couldn’t even stand to be in the same room with nature’s miracle, it’s so irritating and overly fragranced. This really just gets the job done and makes everything smell clean.

Très très décevant, ne fait pas le travaille, sous la barre de satisfaction

Ridiculously priced for what you get. Had to use over 3/4 of the jug to still have urine scent. It does smell nice, although the scent is gone VERY QUICKLY.
