Original Wildroot Hair Groom, 8 Ounces

I used Wildroot when I was a kid to "tame" my straight, dry hair. For some reason I can't remember, I switched to Groom & Clean which for years worked great because I could recomb my hair during the day and it would go into place. Now that it's no longer made I had to find a substitute. A couple that I tried were fine after first putting them on, but hours later when I recombed my hair it reverted to straight and dry as if I never put the stuff on in the first place. Then I tried Wildroot. Works like I remember and the prefect substitue for Groom & Clean. I think the "secret ingredient" is the mineral oil in both products which I think somehow prevents the hair from drying out so you can recomb and look good. It also has a nice barber shop scent which disappears very soon after application. Good stuff... relieved that it's still made.

Wildroot is best Product for mixed grades of hair. If you have Hair that is Mixed Curly and Straight, then You Must Buy Wildroot. This Product has been a Secret for Decades. It is Creamy and Smells Great. If you want to Straighted Curly hair, just apply small amounts and comb Thru. It Actually Will Detangle if you apply it to Wet Hair. AND IF YOU WANT to Moisturize your CURLS, just apply to dry hair. If you have Both Curly and straight hair, You Need Wildroot in Your Life. Your Hair will thank you.

I instantly noticed that my hair was shinier and felt a lot better and also looked better when I combed it. This is a product from the old days but it's still worth using. Now I know why my father used it. I like the small size because you don't need a lot if you have short hair, which I do. I like the ingredients in this product. I'm very happy with it. It does have a distinct smell but it's not bad. A great time to use it is after you get out of the shower and rub it into your hair before you comb it or style it. This product has been around forever and there's plenty of reasons for that and I stated them in the above. 👍

So I have used only expensive hair products for years and years because of my course dry hair. When I started dated and ultimately married a much older man, he introduced me to this product. Actually, I just used his in desperation once and never looked back. I would have never purchased a product like this, but it was the one thing. That actually made my hair smooth and shiny. After a few years of use it became hard to find, them almost impossible. I was so happy when I found out that the company and formula was purchased and available on Amazon. Unfortunately, the new batches we got where runny and weird. We contacted customer service and they sent us two bottles that were much better. Long story short, after a bit they seem to have the formula mastered. We usually buy 6 bottles at a time which last a good long time. We have been very happy with the service and quality and glad we gave them a chance to get it right. This company buys many of the old school formulas and sends a catalog when you purchase. I thought that was kind of special and hope they continue to do well. We buy a years supply just in case.
