I bought this primarily for making welts for knife cases, actually too good for that. The leather is clean, blemish free (at least mine was), relatively uniform thickness (as far as leather goes), and worked well.

Near Flawless
This was literally delivered the same day I ordered it. The hair side is nearly flawless, the flesh side, finished very smooth, but with random light processing (?) lines. Prefect size for the project I planned, and a very attractive price.
