Not Assembled correctly for size advertised
I'm 58 years old and have been wearing boots and some shoes for at least a couple of years, and a number of Ariat. This model is very disappointing, or at least this pair off the production line.My last Ariat's were Ropers that were true to size and they have put in it's days work week after week for the last 3 years. So I decided to try the Workhog in the 9.5d, which is the size I have worn for some 40+ years. I understand how to buy cowboy boots and I know when they are the right size with the right amount of "new boot" heel lift. When I tried these on they were so far off that I could slide my foot in and out of the boot and my heel slip was about 4 inches or more. I couldn't believe the manufacturing difference between their other models and this Workhog.I really wanted these style to work, so I thought perhaps to go down 1/2 size to a 9D. Well...now the toes are a little more cramped and the heel still lifts about 2 to 3 inches in the back. I decided to try them for a few days but I know these are not made correctly. All I can think is that the Arch patch of leather was too large when the assembled this model. It is disappointing since I have been a faithful Ariat customer for years, and know I have to live with a product not manufactured correctly.

Very comfortable!
I am a woman with wide feet and these fit me great. Purchased to wear while riding my dual sport off road. They are stylish and comfortable. Hoping they are durable, they are well made so should be. Glad to have found these at such a great price.

One pair made in China, the other in Bangladesh.
Ordered two pairs of Ariats Workhog's in 9EE, as they were $168.87 on sale. One pair was lighter in color, had nicer workmanship, and was made in Bangladesh. The other pair was slightly darker leather, the leather felt different, and it was made in China. The China pair was slightly longer and wider. The "U turn" on the inside was also a different color. Both of these were purchased at the same time. Compared to the Redwing Pecos 1105 in the same size, the Ariats are approximately 1/2" shorter and a bit narrower. They will definitely need some break-in time as they are quite stiff. They look nice and the price was right. We will see how they hold-up, Bangladesh vs China.
