The chair moves easily over the tile floor. We don’t need to get it over a threshold. Having to do that over a large bump could be difficult. Being able to move the arms out of the way really helps with transfer. I had no difficulty putting the chair together. The chair is just a little low for going over our padded toilet seat on an ADA compliant toilet. I just put a quick release toilet seat on and remove it when I need to put the chair over the toilet. A normal flat toilet seat should work fine.

I purchased this primarily for a shower chair. It had everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. I like the footrest, the mesh back rest, and PVC frame. . I had to remove the track for the commode to accommodate better access for bathing. The biggest thing to note is that the casters are totally inadequate. It is nice, however, that you can up grade by ordering the "real" wheels by MJM that fit right in and make the chair complete. The ones that originally came with it got hung up just going over my floor tiles! So, if you are buying this chair, you should figure in another $59.35 and order the replacement wheels at the same time.

My quadriplegic daughter was visiting our home. I wanted a shower chair she could use. This one worked great. The drop arm feature is a must for her because she is being carried to the chair and the drop arm allows for a safe transfer. The chair was also easy to assemble. The only change I would recommend is the scratchy strip on the foot rest that would damage her feet. We covered the foot rest with a towel.

Fits my mom perfectly. She is a very small framed 91 year old. She likes her new shower chair very much. Thank you!

It's perfect to get mom in and out of the shower and very convenient to snuggle up to the wheelchair to lift her on to it. I only wish it had better locks on the back wheels. Very easy to put together.

The caster wheels do not go over the lowest threshold. Disappointed even the grout lines in tile are a problem
