Grisi Bio Sulfur Soap with Lanolin, 4.4 oz (Pack of 12)12

This has helped bring my oily skin under control but the scent drives my cat nuts. He will sometimes link my face (after I wash it with the sulfur soap) when I'm sleeping and wake me up. I've been late for work three times in the past month and my boss has been giving me extra work. I'm not sure how I feel about this product overall but Oliver really likes it.

If you are in your twenties and still have acne, read on. I have combination skin as well as fair, so when I break out, my skin gets really red. I also tend to pick at my skin if I have blackheads or pimples. I have used many products to relieve acne and blackheads, but most of them seem to work just okay or not at all. I ordered this product because of everything I've read about the benefits of sulfur soap along with the reviews. This soap works extremely well. The first week I used it, it extracted everything out of my face. So, I was continually breaking out, but the break outs would come to a head within one day and be gone within two days. I also noticed that my blackheads were coming out. This has never happened with any other product I've used. Two weeks in, I had deeper acne coming to the surface. If you can fight picking at this point, keep using the product. By the third and fourth week, my skin was immaculate. I mean, incredible. It's soft, smooth and I hardly have to wear makeup. I still have some red marks and scars from previous breakouts that I cover, but it's nothing like what I had to cover up. Also, because the sulfur is a natural exfoliant, it is helping gently remove skin and I have noticed that I don't have dry patches when my pimples heal and my scars are fading. The second thing to review is the smell. It smells decent when it's dry and fresh out of the package. However, there is a chalky smell to it after use/getting out of the shower. I use it on my face, chest and back. So, the routine that I do that helps with the smell is washing my hair first so that the conditioner doesn't leave a film on my back. Then, I wash with the sulfur soap. I have another mild, natural oatmeal soap that I lather my body with after the sulfur soap. The sulfur soap is so effective that if you do a light rinse with another mild soap, it's fine. I don't wash my face with the oatmeal soap though. Just my body. This helps with the smell big time. If you don't do that, there is a strong sulfur smell left. It also will make your towel and bathroom have a lingering smell. The smell fades away once you're dry, but I can still smell it pretty strongly if I don't rinse with the oatmeal soap. I asked my boyfriend if he could smell it and he didn't notice any difference in the way I smell. Overall this product is amazing. It's worth the faint smell to me. To have clear skin and for so cheap, it's worth it. Give this soap a try. It's crazy cheap, lasts a long time, and it's so simple to use. I can't believe it's taken me this long to find something that actually works. Seriously, just try it out. The two pack is like $5.

Great to find this on Amazon since it's not available in any stores around here. It's been one of the tools I've been using for over a year in my battle with a scabies infection that never seems to go completely away. Of course, I think my boyfriend is a carrier since we live in the same house, and he never has any symptoms. I seem to have allergic reactions to the bites that he doesn't. It's not an end-all for killing the mites but since I'm in the shower everyday anyway, it's not an extra step. My go-to is tea tree oil that I also get from Amazon. I apply it with a spray bottle at night since it has too powerful a scent to use if I'm at work or out-and-about. That and soaking in baths with added tea tree oil as hot as I can stand them, maybe 115 degrees, have been my best defense.

I spent 4 months suffering from some strange, irritating, recurring skin condition with bacteria that no doctor could clearly diagnose or cure, even with antibiotics. A dermatologist told me to get sulphur in a cream and apply it. I bought this soap and washed with it twice a day and my skin is doing very much better. The smell is not bad, rather pleasant actually, and it is mild enough to wash and not rinse completely off so its bacteriacide properties remain on my skin. The best product I have used for this problem.

The complaints about the smell should be weighed against the really unusual benefits of this sulfur soap. It would be nice if there was not so much fragrance in it & I would still buy it without the fragrance in it---so I hope they will offer an unscented version. So far this soap has unusual, good, working benefits that a lot of people are having stand out in their reviews. This soap so far has been kind of intriguing as to what about it makes it work, because there has been nothing so far that has worked for my scalp until this & the psorias uncomfortable efftect of many, many, months: and it brought an immediate result after the very first use of putting it on my wet hair & scalp for 10 minutes. The immediate positive result was unexpected. I was really surprised & had to think about the combination of ingredients in the soap for a while, & what was causing the nonstop breaking out in the first place. Lack of sulfur in the system? For some reason sulfur answers a lot of skin issues; but you have to have enough Sulfur is one of the keys. I've always had a hard time finding a product, any product, with enough sulfur in it. This soap has a very high amount of sulfur compared to nearly any other product you will ever be able to find. A lot of people need to understand that sulfur by nature does not have a pleasant smell, that it comes out of the earth that way. The strong added fragrance trying to compete with the sulfur smell is overwhelming, so I would really like the company to put out a version of this so without added fragrance & I would probably be purchasing that for my son & I for the rest of my life.
