Amazing Deal - 24 Hosta Bare Roots Plants w/Planting Shovel - Mixed Heart-Shaped, Rich Green Foliage, Attracts Butterflies, Hummingbirds & Pollinators, Low Maintenance & Extremely Hardy - Zones 3–9

Love the plant quality and they have a fast growth rate. Good value for the money being bare root plants. The colors are vary similar and unfortunately they are not labeled with names but I have planted them outside in zone 7 shade garden.

Update: This company is really great. One of my orders was lost in the mail and they were quick to refund. They then sent me a replacement. Nice to find a company that cares about their customers. Oh and the plants they sent were once again big, green and healthy. Big thumbs up. Original post: Received these very quickly. Roots were packed very well and in great shape. All were extremely healthy , rooted and sprouted new leaves within days. I was so happy I put in a second order that unfortunately never arrived. Still I’m trying again before the planting window closes.

The 24 plants arrived in good shape in eight bags containing three bare root plants, each with some potting soil. While some of the roots looked better than others and sprouted immediately, after six weeks on the ground all 24 plants are healthy and thriving. Most of the plants put out leaves within a few days. A few took a week or so, but caught up quickly. The picture attached was taken about six weeks after planting and show the two varieties that arrived. Both are variegated varieties, one is green with white edges and the other green with chartreuse edges. About 2/3 of them are the green and white variety. It was all but impossible to tell which variety I was planting where because the root stock all looks alike. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase because the plants are all growing very well and did so quickly.

These are already doing extremely well in my garden and I could not plant them for a while so put them with all of the natural material they were shipped with in a large bowl and kept them all watered til I could plant them - they started growing large and opening up right away. All of them survived - I purchased two packs. However between those two packs there were only two types of Hosta. Perhaps I misunderstood or did not thoroughly read the description. Still a worthy investment for my large front yard hosta garden and I even had a few to place around my small pond as well as a some for my backyard.

I am floored by these. Not only did I get more than i ordered. They were all in amazing condition when they arrived. Great roots, most had growth but not too much. Planted immediately and now 3 days later all have more than doubled in size. Only critique I have is that I wish they sent some basic planting instructions since the leaves weren’t always growing the logical direction from the roots and should they be a bit above ground or no…. Hope my Brown thumb doesn’t strike again.

I was initially skeptical when I received these hosta plants. They arrived in a sealed plastic bag with some sawdust-looking material, and I honestly thought they might be too dry or damaged to survive. Life got busy, so I didn’t get a chance to plant them until four days later—and I was worried that I had waited too long. But wow, was I wrong! After planting them and following a heavy rainstorm, I was amazed to see visible sprouts within 24 hours! These hostas clearly have a strong root system and are incredibly resilient. I’m beyond happy with this purchase and will definitely be ordering more in the future. Highly recommend!

I purchased these and they all arrived alive and started growing, but they have remained tiny- about the size of my hand. They are in good soil and on water irrigation.

They were shipped and received in great shape! Roots were large and all had sprouted. Planted outside in the ground, and have fingers crossed. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because I only recieved 10 plants. However 1 was as large as a dinner plate and had 3 sprouts on it. So, that makes 12 right? Would buy again.
