can this tube fit a 36' x 72' poster?

I store, up to 35" in Length, Autographed Baseball Bats in 36 inch Bat tubes in Mine with 4" to spare. Don't know how well You could roll up 6 Feet of Poster inside. The Diameter of the Tubes are around 4 inches. So that is what You will be working with.

How big is the large option?

Shortest length is 24.5” and longest length is 40” for the large poster tube all measured externally.

i have to store some ceramic discs that are 3.25" diameter, so is the opening as wide as the tube (the opening can be smaller)?

The poster tube has the opening of 3 inches wide, and and outer diameter of 3.25 inches wide. As for the last part of your question yes the open has to be smaller than the outside it’s what makes the wall thickness of the poster tube.
