Worked for me, looks good!
First up - the description clearly states that the 12 x 48 roll has the grain running the short length, so don't order this expecting the grain to run the long way.I found this really easy to work with, and covered my battered old laptop with it. I had a small heat gun that I used to press the wrap down into the recesses, and used my credit card, a toothpick and a popsicle stick to really get it into the areas where I would be making cuts. I found it very easy to keep bubbles out, and what few I got were easily dealt with, as the woodgrain has texture that hides pinholes. On the downside, I discovered that you can accidentally tear this stuff if you are too rough with it.Overall really pleased with my first wrapping experience, I would buy this product again for bigger jobs without hesitation.

Easy to use and looks great!
This stuff is great! To install, I prepared the laptop surfaces with rubbing alcohol. I cut a piece larger than the area I was covering, peeled the paper off and stuck it to the laptop. Oops, it wasnt quite centered. This stuff is very sticky but I was able to remove it to recenter my project. Then I had to poke small pin holes in a few spots to release some trapped air. I used a heat gun to form the corners and trimmed the excess with a box cutter. With heat, this stuff forms to contours well and I haven't had any problems with peeling. Note, too much heat will cause the wood grain texture to become glossy. I've been using the laptop for about a week. Forgive my greasy fingerprints on the keyboard in the attached pictures. Looks great, works well and I highly recomend!

An Inexpensive Way To Decide How Deep You Want To Dive
If you haven't done this before, like me...think of wrapping a christmas present...that's about how it went for me. I have a heat gun and it did work...the end result looked like I had tried to wrap my keyboard in wood-looking wrapping paper. I have no idea of how in the world I could do complex corners, or even simple corners. I'd say if you had a nice flat surface to do, this would be a cinch...if somebody can wrap a car with material like this...they should get paid a lot of money for their skills!

grain runs wrong direction
looks like good stuff but it is useless with grain running top to bottom instead of the length of the piece. I suspect these are remnants being resold.listing clearly states that the grain runs the length of the strip.

Not for vinyl printers
Looks beautiful and has ridges and texture similar to wood grain but you can’t use it on a vinyl printer otherwise it will not stick to anything, not even it’s own backing.
