Die Säge liefert eine unfassbar leichten und effektiven Schnitt. Ich hätte nicht erwartet, dass sie so gut sägt. Eine ordentliche Ladung Feuerholz ist im Handumdrehen verarbeitet. Man muss sich etwas zwingen, nicht zuviel Kraft einzusetzen, gerade weil man sie auch beidhändig bedienen kann. Denn als Zugsäge arbeitet sie im Grunde fast von allein. Die Verarbeitungsqualität wirkt sehr hochwertig, der Sicherungs-/Klappmechanismus ist leichtgängig und auch mit Arbeitshandschuhe gut bedienbar. Trotz der Größe ist sie ziemlich leicht. Deshalb wird sie fester Bestandteil meiner Trekkingausrüstung werden. Für Tageswanderungen werde ich mir vielleicht bei Gelegenheit noch eine etwas kleinere Silky besorgen.
