Couldn’t be better!
I had actually ordered what I thought would be the “aged” brass. I received the polished brass. The box was labeled incorrectly. BUT….. I’m super glad I got the polished brass because it’s everything I never knew I wanted! It’s so beautiful, shiny and matches my new kitchen perfectly. I have a nearly 150 yo brass chandelier my mom had since I was about 6. It was in an old house she and Dad bought and flipped before flipping was a thing. It’s amazing that my new faucet matches. The quality is astounding. Works easily. Installation was ok but make sure the “Kingston Brass” engraving is on the back, not facing outward. If not, the handles will work backward; meaning instead of pulling forward to turn on, you’d have to push them backward to turn on. Water pressure is good. Water flow could be better or maybe I need a different screen in the head of the faucet. It’s just kind of sloppy. Also wait until you receive it to buy your water lines, which do not come with the unit, to make sure you have what you need to install, hose-connection wise. Overall, 5/5 stars. I really love it. Perfect for my 1928 home. Hard to see in this photo because backsplash isn’t done, windows or wall either. Will update when I have better photos.

Love my new Kingston Brass Heritage Faucet...it is ATTRACTIVE & FUNCTIONAL!
After pushing through nearly 10 years with two sub-standard and ugly Delta Faucets (both leaked after 2 years of minimal use...there are only TWO ADULTS here in our home and we do NOT over use or abuse our sink faucets), I purchased this great Kingston Brass faucet based on aesthetics and MANY online reviews. Although pricey, this is a great faucet and I am extremely happy with my purchase. For starters, THIS IS A HEAVY BRASS, gorgeous CHROME-PLATED faucet that feels substantial and durable... the entire faucet mechanism is HEAVY! Our ONLY GLITCH was the FIRST faucet (our first purchase of this exact faucet) HAD A SPLIT IN THE ACTUAL BRASS ALONG THE BRIDGE, which caused a pin-hole leak (can you believe it)? What are the chances of the actual BRASS being split??? Upon searching and searching, securing & reconnecting connections and searching again, my husband discovered a small split along the rear of the bridge! So we immediately contacted Amazon and returned the defective faucet. We were immediately given return/refund instructions from Amazon and because we loved the faucet so much, we immediately ordered a second Kingston Brass KS1271ALBS Heritage Faucet. Upon ordering a second faucet (no hassles, second one was shipped with an additional charge to our credit card for the second faucet...first faucet was credited back to our account upon receipt by Amazon Returns), we removed the first faucet, dried everything off, repackaged the defective faucet and dropped the item off at our local United Parcel Service/Fed Ex storefront for its return to the Amazon Fullfillment Center. This Heritage collection faucet is attractive and goes very well in our 160-year old farmhouse kitchen. Style truly is old "Victorian" and is very attractive and easy to clean. The double handle kitchen faucet includes a 8" centerset setup with a 360-degree turn swivel hook spout, so CHECK YOUR MEASUREMENTS and make sure the upper faucet "swivel" mechanism et al "clears" your back splash...that seems to be the biggest "hazard. The hot/cold handles move in a 1/4-turn rotation, which I like. Everything fits/feels tight. We have no drips, no leaks. Per usual, installment was a bit of pain, as my husband had to contort himself, then brace himself for the arduous, under-sink, usual "faucet replacement installment nigthmare." Obviously, it is MUCH easier to install an initial faucet in new construction versus remove an old, broken faucet, replace a faucet, remove a defective new faucet, replace a faucet, etc.But all is good! Water pressure is extraordinary and a HUGE plus is a pot "sprayer" that is actually BRASS (and not your usual typical plastic). Love everything about my new faucet! It is super-durable, functional and attractive!!

Five stars after some issues
This will be a very strange five star review since I did have numerous issues during and after the install. I am not a plumber, but I have installed a couple dozen faucets over the years and, on the face of it, the install is pretty straightforward and relatively easy. The unit itself is very beefy- even the sprayer. I swear if you need a weapon carry this faucet around for protection. You can beat any attacker to death with it using a couple of swings. It's very nice looking in design, and the finish is consistent and pleasant looking. The problems in installing; I have a 3cm counter and the escutcheon tubes under the faucet handles are barely long enough to fit. Also, the one on the cold side wasn't factory tight, and I learned that the hard way after the initial install and had a leak. I had to take it off and tighten it up.Okay, it's installed and working fine. Until the water flow reduced to a trickle after a minute or so. Took the aerator off and no difference. Took the spout part off, which is very easy to do, and the only thing left seated in the body was the diverted valve. That's when I made the mistake in calling the manufacturer. The guy told me to take the aerator off to see if it would help after I told him I was already three steps past that point. Dude, get off the preprinted troubleshooting guide and listen to your customers. After he finally listened to me he said he could send me another diverted valve, I would just have to email him a picture of my proof of purchase and address. When I hung up with him I decided to take the valve out and take a look at it. Removal was pretty easy. It has a plastic body with a hex recessed shape. I used a 1/2" chisel, pushed down a little and turned it counterclockwise. There was a piece of rubber in one of the holes, so I removed it, put everything back together and it worked fine.Okay, so here is where inspiration struck. The diverter valve is by itself pretty worthless, since all it does is restrict water flow. I took the faucet apart and removed it. Put it back together and got about a 30% jump in water flow. And about double the pressure in the sprayer. It works great now, and it is a very good value, even with the stupid issues I had.
