We love this knife and we also have a set of the steak knives. They are beautiful, well made, and hold a sharp edge. I did invest in a high quality 20 degree sharpener to keep them in good condition.

Love this knife! I like the looks and it is great for cheese and tomatoes! I gave one as a gift as it is good looking on a cheese tray.

Works fine for cheese. only complaint is the handle, you can feel the pins sticking beyond the surface of the wood handle inserts, Sonyou feel the pegs, they are not flush with the wood handle inserts

It's a great quality knife. I mostly use it for cheese and tomatoes. Makes cutting very easy. The handle is of great quality, easy to clean, and comfortable to use. Works great for handle size good.

Do yourself a favor and buy this beautiful and very useful knife! Just received my new knife a few days ago. Took it out of the box, washed it, and admired my new instrument that has been on my "I want this thing" List for a few months now. I always read the reviews before purchase. One stated that it left a rough surface on the cheese and squashed their tomato. This IS NOT my experience! I sliced a piece of hard Swiss cheese about 1 1/2" x 3". First I sliced it from the 1 1/2" top to bottom. One slice 1 1/2" very smooth and so easy! Then I sliced it from the 3" top to bottom. One slice 3" long, very smooth and so easy! Sliced 2 tomatoes with ease and little to no juice on the cutting board. So very easy with no ragged edges. Unless others first used their knives to cut bricks in half for their new fireplace, I don't know what they are talking about!

I love this knife. The tiny teeth are perfect to cut the softest fruit of vegetables. A soft tomato don't stand a chance with this knife. instead of relying on a smooth sharp edge that still don't always work well or using a stake knife with large serrated teeth that tear the tomato this has tiny serrates that saw through with ease. this knife is made extremely well and should last at least a lifetime or much longer.

This is a beautiful knife, it really is! Unfortunately it does not cut as cleanly and smoothly as we had hoped. The handle size is very good but you can kind of feel the little ridge where the metal is adjacent to the wood and I think that should have been a little smoother transition. As far as the balance of it in your hand it's quite good but again it doesn't cut as smoothly as we had hoped. But it does look quite beautiful on a cheese plate.

I love the way this slices through my block cheeses. The knife is nicely weighted, making it easy to maneuver. It looks nice as well. I liked it so much, I purchased a second knife for our summer home.
