The stitching measures 4 inches wide by 5 inches high. The phone I stick in the pouch is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is considerably larger than the iPhone 14. I have no problem stowing my phone in its case, plus my wallet. The fabric has some stretchiness.
