These are exactly what I needed to add to my trail saddle. I did not need the ring attachment so I pulled the leather off and attached them to the rings that were already on my saddle. They look great!

This was replacement for some damaged strings on Circle Y saddle. Matched the original strings in size and color well

I needed to attach straps to a saddle for trail use. I ordered these so i could do it myself and not have to go to a leather shop. Quality is excellent, very supple. Stain color is a dark walnut. The D rings they came with are huge (see pic), so I removed them and replaced them with smaller ones.

I was really disappointed with these latigos. If you just want them for looks on your saddle, these are the straps for you. But if you actually want to use them to tie things to your saddle, do not buy these. The leather is very stiff. No amount of conditioner, oil or manipulation will make them soft and pliable. I do saddle restoration and customization. I have tack from the 1800s I've brought back to usable condition. There's no amount of work that will make these latigos usable.

Needs two changes to be perfect. The leather is too thick to make good ties. Great quality leather though. The dee clips are fully rounded out which causes the dees to not lay flat. Cosmetically it wouldn’t matter but it does cause the clip to also not lay flat under metal and leather conchos.

Added these to a barrel saddle because I ride trails. Nice leather and knotted tie. Also lays flat under concho.
