No elastic in these socks, they are made of stretchy fabric and not my favorite.

do these twist on the feet?

No. These are my favorite socks. One of my feet is 1/2-size smaller than the other, and neither sock twists, either from a tight shoe or a lose one.

I love these socks, because they are comfortable and keep their shape. Size I ordered was true to size as listed.
