I think this is the one I used to mount a Winegard signal strength module. Good project box so far.

This form factor is one of my prototype' s preferred one. It's practical and versatile for small measurement jigs...very satisfied.

My situation was that I had a coil of excess antenna wire that added clutter to a conspicuous area and was catching dust to boot. I couldn't shorten the wire as it had a permanently attached plug at both ends. So, I filed a notch in both ends of this project box where the lid and body met, placed the coil of wire in the box, led one end of the wire through each notch and secured the lid. The box looked much better than the exposed wire. The result: small-scale but effective wire management, thanks to this useful box.

Works well and fits the project needs.

I have used several of these enclosures to house voltage / amperage indicator. The purpose of the box is to monitor battery status while charging of electric wheel chairs. Give you the read out in voltage & charge current going into the battery.The construction / size / fit & fair is "spot on" and I will continue using these in future projects. They drill / cut nicely and is easy to cut with a dremel tool - abrasive disk. Nice to have screws for the top to be included. Being plastic not friendly to soldering irons, getting too close.

The outer dimensions of the DSBK model are: OD: 5.9"W x 3.1"H x 2"D . These boxes are great for arduino and electronic DIY projects. The plastic is easy to work with and drill through and the boxes look professional when done. It can be hard to find the right size since there are so many different models. I purchased 7 different models to compare sizing and usefulness for my various projects (BSBK\CSBK\DSBK\ESBK\GSBK\SSBK\USBK). Search youtube for "Hammond Project Boxes Review" to see a comparison of the different sizes and what can fit in them. I highly recommend these boxes for projects as they are affordable, accessible, professional, and lead to good looking finished projects.

I needed a place to mount some switches, fuses, and relays, and this should do the trick. The plastic is fairly stiff and strong, and the lid fits well. It's not waterproof, and the lid attaches with four small screws, so it's probably not the best choice for field duty.The grooves for circuit boards may be useful in some applications. I'll use them to separate devices to avoid contact and to help secure wiring for light switches and relays.I don't imagine the plastic will withstand heat or direct sunlight very well, so keep that in mind.It's a good box for certain applications, and the advertised dimensions are very accurate.

cheap box. no sturdity. i wished it was thicker.
