If I could give this item 6 stars, I wouldn't hesitate. At first, you might think it is a little expensive for a watering system for your pets, and I was a little hesitant ------- but I am so glad I did. I purchased the 5 gal. Critter Cooler, delivery was quick, the product is very sturdy and well made with top grade materials. Instructions for use were very clear, came with extra large size 0 rings and even directs you to a video that explains everything and shows how to make it very easy to fit the top on correctly. It took me literally 15 minutes to get this together and working, and my dogs now have constant cool water. I keep mine in the kitchen, throw in ice cubes and fill with water and in less than 5 minutes, the cooler is refilled and refreshed. This is a well thought out product, can't think of anything that it is lacking. A person can end up spending much more on other dog watering systems, such as the fountain type, where the pumps can fail and need to be replaced. This critter cooler has no pumps to break, plus it keeps the water fresh and cool and nothing "electrical" to consider. You pay for this once and then use it forever without having to replace expensive parts. Makes good sense to me. I plan to purchase another for use on my outdoor patio this summer. My cooler takes care of my husky and 3 pugs! They all love the cool water! Lynda IT HAS BEEN 2 YEARS SINCE I PURCHASED THIS ITEM and I am still just as enthusiastic about my review. Even though it came with an extra O ring, I have not yet had to replace the original. I still keep it in the kitchen --- throw ice into it, roll it over to my kitchen sink and fill the container using the sink hose. No mess, no lifting ---- then screw the top on and roll it back to its position in the kitchen. My 3 pug dogs line up to drink from it like it was the office water cooler! so cute. My husky has since passed away, but this was fantastic for her also. After 2 years, I still highly recommend this item.

Great product. We have an older edition and have used it for the past 10 years. We have three big dogs, and they consume a lot of water — we wanted a second one (the original still works great). We liked it so much our daughter bought the smaller version for her dogs. With this product, the water stays clean and fresh, and we only have to fill it every few days—great value for the money. We needed help with the product, and the vendor was responsive.

I've owned this since NOV 2021. I recently was thinking about it due to a reddit post asking what expensive purchase that was totally worth it. As far as dog waterers go, I would consider this the expensive version. It's 100% worth it. I have 5 dogs. They drink A LOT of water. At the time of purchase I was looking for something with a lot of capacity that didn't involve trying to carry something heavy. I found this and it was worth every penny. It doesn't leak unless you aren't careful about checking seals. We've had 2 leaks in 4 years and they were both due to user error. My dogs like it. It's easy to fill and clean. It's held up really well. It's a really great made product. I recommend it all the time. If you are thinking about, just buy it. You won't have any regrets!

As a Great Pyrenees mom (& 3 full-time cats & usually a few foster kittens), this was the only was to go. He's basically like watering a horse inside the house. Also, if you have a dog that picks up of flips his bowl, this is a solution. The rating goes down when it comes to "easy to clean" and "easy to use. It is really awesome it has a drain plug, but they could tweek the design, and a full cleaning of bucket may also be annoying. And, actually, I do think it is easy to use; however, those O-rings & seals between pieces were rather annoying to set up, and I imagine I will hate changing them during maintenance. They certainly could have made it so the O-rings fit their location a bit better. I also have a congo African Grey parrot just to add to the insanity of my misfit menagerie.

Ok so this is by far the best customer service I have EVER experienced. When I received the product, my husband put it together. One of the legs wouldn’t stay in. (It was completely our fault for not watching the videos that the creator had on his website). I called the number that was located in the box to call if I had any issues. The actual owner called me back personally. First off, I was surprised at that! He was so kind! He walked me through the entire process and told me to call him back anytime with any issues. He meant that! I ended up calling again just for a question I had and he was quick to return my call again. You don’t find that these days. Not only is it great customer service but the product is wonderful! I no longer have to lug large jugs around to water my dogs. I just push the container (it’s on wheels, that lock and unlock) over to my sink and fill it with water! My dogs love it, I love it. I know it’s a little expensive, but it’s sooo worth it. Do yourself a favor if you have pets, buy this!
