Wii U GamePad Stand/Cradle Set - Black

Didnt come in the box, but the quality was amazing!

This is convenient as it keeps the game pad put away and charges it at the same time. These come with some of the wii u consoles but we bought just the basic one and this wasn't included. It does jot come with the charging cable so that will have to be purchased separately. It was very simple to set up and use. I also found that this is great for holding a cell phone to watch videos. While I received it at a discounted price for an honest and unbiased review I plan to purchase another since the price is great compared to the $20 list price and use it for my phone. This is definitely a good deal. I am happy with the product as it does what it advertises and I found other uses for it.

This product is a great little cheap stand and charging cradle for the Wii U GamePad. It feels like it was cheaply made, but for the price ($5 at time of purchase) I felt that this was more than acceptable. The socket where you plug the charging cable in to does not feel 100% secure and moves slightly, but there were no issues charging. All in all, it does everything I need it to do. If you need a cheap and effective Stand/Charging station for your Wii U controller or If you didn't get the Wii U bundle that comes with this I'd highly recommend this product.. Whats in the box? Two bits of black plastic: 1) The top on in the image is the stand which will stand up your Wii U controller 2) Bottom the cradle, acts as a stand with a recharging point for your Wii U controller The stand Keeps the Wii U Controller stable at fixed slight angle maybe around 15 degrees The Cradle also keeps it at a similar fixed stable angle.. the power cable plugs into the rear of the cradle, the 2 black prongs line up and connect with the Wii U controllers gold plated connectors and charges as it sits in the cradle.. I primarily use this to play via a wii remote and classic controller setup as a 2ndary screen.. or nearby touch screen interface..

We grew to love this stand one our original WiiU which came with the stand. It's convenient and makes charging easy. Setting the GamePad on the stand saves from having to deal with cords. It works much like a PC docking station does. If you need to charge your GamePad during a Splatfest marathon gaming session just unplug the cord from the stand and you're done. It's easy to switch back and forth from charging on the stand or directly to GamePad. We recently bought a refurbished WiiU that didn't come with the stand. We were so spoiled with our first console's stand that we had to buy one for our children's console. The price for this stand recently dropped down to around $6 which is a steal! We bought it and couldn't be happier! That being said I would have paid full price for this. It's not fancy, has no bells and whistles. But I would pay $20 for the added convenience. I'm just happy it was and still is on sale.

I purchased this product as a gift for my nephew so that he could charge his Wii U gamepad. The Wii U I bought him online did not come with this so I figured it would be a good idea to get him one. Needless to say he was quite pleased with this and set about using it immediately. It was fairly easy to set up (even someone like me could figure it out). When using the charging cradle you have the option of doing one of two things: you can choose to place the gamepad on the cradle and leave it to charge or you can put the gamepad on the cradle and still use it while it is charging (just make sure your charging cable is long enough so that you won't have to be bent over). The other plastic stand included in this set serves a great purpose - you can put the gamepad in this secondary stand and play games without having to use the television. I can watch t.v. and my nephew can play games and we can both do what we want at the same place at the same time. I got a great deal on this set because I did not buy a cheap knockoff - this is the real deal Nintendo brand product you see in stores! You don't have to worry about compatibility issues with this product. It is not too light and feels well-made, unlike cheaper versions I have seen elsewhere. Please note, this set DOES NOT include a charging cable - you will have to find one elsewhere. My nephew has been using this regularly when he plays and he has reported no problems. Job well done!

At the suggestion of another website, it was recommended that the stand would be great to use for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Since it was only less than $6.00 at the time it was purchased (and with free shipping), the credo "nothing ventured, nothing gained" was thought of. The only part of the set that I would use for the Note 3 would be the stand, as the charging cradle has protrusions and bumps coming out of it, that would most likely damage your phone. The stand is nice with the rubber feet and the Note 3 fits nicely in the landscape position and it is very accommodating to the OEM cable that comes with the phone. If even on a nightstand, you could probably wrap the cable once around the center of the Wii U stand so that the phone would not slide and the cable would remain in place. I'm currently using the Otterbox Commuter series case and there is still plenty of room for the phone to fit. Overall, it's a very nice piece to use if you would like to stand up your Samsung Galaxy Note 3. As far as using it for a Wii U? I have no idea.

Es un artículo sencillo enfocado más que nada al orden que se puede lograr poniendo el controlpad en una base, en vez de simplemente arrumbarlo a cargar. Además la base es muy útil cuando están usando la tele y yo opto por jugar con el controlpad como pantalla mientras utilizo el pro controller (no aplica con todos los juegos, como splatoon, pero sí en otros como Bayonetta).
