Very thorough, with hundreds of stones and crystals. Color photos of each stone are included as well as their molecular structure. Spiritual, emotional and physical manifestations are written with specific information for use of crystals.I love the beauty of crystals and this book includes any kind of stone or crystal that I will come across.A fantastic book!

I've had this book before and loved it. There's a lot of useful scientific information in here but there's also some information on the metaphysical properties. That's not really my thing but I'm always interested to learn.

I highly recommend this book! I think I own--or have read--almost every crystal book and this is my favorite as far as a "crystal healing" book goes. Wonderful descriptions and photos. If you want a smaller book to carry with you, there is also a pocket version by the same author!

I don’t know very much about stones, so this gives me a wonderful resource. The information presented in the forward and preface is rich!

This is just what I was looking for. I have a good field guide that was given to me. But I was looking for a book that had spiritual information about the crystals. This book had it. It talks about the crystals geologically, but it also has spiritual information. It is all in one heavy book. The book itself is well made. They use heavy stock of semi gloss paper. The photos are sharp. I read about it online. It came well recommended. I am glad I got it. I keep it in the plastic envelope that Amazon sent it in. I've got three cats so have to protect the book.

This book is amazing and so easy to work with. Anybody who likes to collect stones will at notice the different varieties, The different colors of the minerals and gem stones. This book has it all. I find it extremely helpful for finding the stones and learning about their properties.

I have been collecting stones and crystals for most of my life. I have collected many books to help identify pieces I have forgotten the names of, and new ones that I found without reference. This book is by far the most comprehensive in my collection. Beautiful full color photos and information on so many specimens.I still have things that aren't identified in this book, but it is my go-to before looking for information on the internet.
