Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T Tablet (White)

Performs above expectations. Left the iPad to come to a tablet PC and I never looked back. Microsoft will catch up eventually in the app department so I have no worries. The best part of this whole experience is the mobile computing. This tablet does everything my bulky laptop can do plus it is easier to carry around. I researched every tablet PC on the market thoroughly and for the money this tablet is hands down the best choice. It is a brand you can trust. Its sleek design and light weight make it so easy to put in a purse or back pack. I am happy with the battery life as well. I recharge about every 4 days. Overall I am very happy with this tablet.

Looks nice, but then you notice the port cover won't stay closed. Then the real fun begins: poor response from the screen and constant lock-ups. Totally useless and wish I had used it enough early on to be able to return it. Now that I've used it, I'm tempted to discard so I won't be constantly reminded of my bad purchase. Add to all this that it has the "advantage" of Windows 8 and you are in for a bad ride. Also, it is agonizingly slow even with my recently maxed out cable Internet service. It does its own thing regardless of what you want.

I am not happy with this tablet. I've had it for over a year now and I just keep finding reasons for regretting this purchase. My two major complaints are: 1. There isn't enough memory space and that's not as big a deal since I wanted to put most things on the cloud anyway (one drive) -but the computer wants to sync with the cloud automatically every time. That either puts everything on the cloud onto the computer (which has very limited harddisk space) or erases everything on the cloud - because I don't save things on my computer. You can't turn the synching feature off - I was on support with Samsung forever and know this for sure-as sure as I can be. I purchased another cloud service so I'm not using onedrive now....whatever.2. This device is not compatible with google play - not at all. Can't download games from google play - that is very inconvenient!

It's was my own fault for thinking this tablet would perform at minimium as well as my iPhone when phone has more processing power. I bought it a job were I paid premiums based on how quickly & accurately I complete a task so I'm sure that added to my disappointment. Over a year and $700+ later it's and permanent fixture in my junk drawer.

Just 4 stars cause I had to have the bluetooth fixed, having to send it in for repairs and they at first tried to tell me that it was over the guarantee period,,,keep all your e-mails as receipts cause you never know. And don't send the power cord or pen cause you will not get them back! Even though they tell you to send the power cord,,,don't,,,,they didn't send mine back and I had to wait for them to send me a new one,,,Samsung that is.....(yes it was free, they paid for postage both ways even sent a box to pack it in)once the bluetooth was sorted out,,works great,,,keep all my chord and word chart pdf's on it and don't have to lug around a heavy bag full of note books to jams anymore,,or gigs.....Yes, it's big enough to see, read the chord, words on a full page, with these old eyes...now to find a good holder that doesn't cost 50 bucks(they are all cheap plastic) O,,,also, tabedit works great,,cause it is windows 8.1 so no need to fiddle about with the whole android/apple thing..... And a shout out to Amazon, got the thing quicker than a wink,,,gees,,,I swear I just ordered it and they were knocking on my door with the package..well maybe not that fast but per near....

I have 7 computers that I use in my house and I must say this is the best one. a tablet, light weight, very fast, pen, pixel screen very impressive. plus it has usb ports and really you can do just about everything on this device, and yes it is a samsung. I just ordered the Kindle hdx 8.9, but will not be released till November 7, 2013. I do a lot of traveling and I always take my kindle fire hd 7" for reading and listening to music which I purchased last year.I am a amazon prime member which is great with many benefits. I also, love my Kindle.

Bought the tablet for general use for my business. No issues with check out I received a tracking number immediately after the purchase was completed. Only issue was the tracking thru FedEx and the amazon tracking link was poor. I had to go thru 3 different avenues to get an accurate up to date location of the tablets where abouts. Even then it took days for each site to update.
