Heater
The instructions are you useless, had to watch videos on YouTube. Once installed and working, it's a very good heater, I've installed it in a 12 foot two birth caravan, and it kept the van very cosy on its lowest setting during the frosts and snow. It is very cheap to use. I recommend this heater.

Works great
I got this to heat my 8' x10' shed that has no insulation to make working on the motorbike more comfortable and it works a treat, was easy to install and set up.The instructions are in chinglish but to be fair it's pretty self explanatory. The only thing I would mention and I am a qualified heating engineer who works on oil and gas so have a good understanding, is I purged the fuel line for around 200 seconds (this is where I could no longer see any bubbles). I then turned the heater on.The first time it started up I was a bit worried as there was a bit of smoke coming from under he unit but once it was running this stopped and hasn't happened again.I realised that this was just the actual heater purging (no way to see diesel at that point) so t coughed and spluttered a little on initial start up putting extra pressure on exhaust outlet. Once runythis was no longer an issue. I even got my flue gas analyser in to double check and no fumes emitted. So if this happens to you just give it a minute and it should clear. I would highly recommend. Also as the exhaust was exiting a timber shed I drilled an over size hole then cut a bit of sheet steel with the correct size hole to seal through the wall ensuring the exhaust cannot touch the timber as it gets exceptionally hot.One last tip is that I used 28mm Munson rings with back plates to mount the exhaust to the wall of the shed outside to keep it neat and also away from the timber.I am going to cut a flue terminal guard to fit over the exhaust to ensure nobody can touch it.

This unit failed after 30 minutes and had to be returned.
This unit failed after 30 minutes and had to be returned. I had it set up and working well on 5 Dec. When I returned the next day (very cold morning) looking forward to my newly installed luxury, the unit went through it's start up cycle and stopped. I soon realised the pump was not ticking away and had failed. I reseated electrical connections and reset the unit but to no avail. It basiically lasted for the 30 minute test and never worked again. Nothing happened to it between setting up and testing and the following day. VERY dissapointing and a right royal pain in the arse as I had to dismantle it and package it all back up for Amazon. Diesel filled pipes etc. Not a nice job and a total waste of my valuable time. No contact details to request a replacement pump and Amazon said it was only possible to return the item for a refund. Also, this is categorically NOT 8kw. This is a 5KW unit and identical in every way to a 5kw. If you search Yout Tube there are several in depth videos explaining why.

Great heater
Great heater, didn't run straight out of the box! Had to take the side and top panel off and remove about 25mm of excess fuel cable that was kinked and stopping the fuel from flowing. Fuel pump is noisy but not as loud as the exhaust, will fit a longer pipe or a muffler. But it get my van and when removed get my large 30ft by 20 ft garage nice and warm

Works as should
I bought this to replace a broken 5kw heater that I used to heat a 28ft boat through three separate rooms, (albeit very small rooms) via a simple bit of ducting. After searching through an almost endless list of suppliers of cheap diesel heaters, I went for this 8kw 12v heater. It's advertised as 8kw, but hoestly I'm not really sure how it's any different to my previous 5kw, but hey, it works, and it was as cheap as other 5kw heaters I had viewed.I chose the white version. It arrived the next day, well packaged. Worked straight of the box. Nice. I've had it running every night for 5 nights now, approx 8 hours a night and it hasn't flinched.Positives:*Actual manual, these units normally have either shockingly bad manuals or none at all.*Quiet.*Good fuel consumption, about 8 litres for the 5 nights I've had it running.*Main unit is metal and not the usual plastic... Not sure if this is really better, but looks cool.*Works.Negatives:*controler doesn't work, that would be very annoying, luckily I had a spare control panel. Obviously you can just use it manually, but who wants to get up do stuff when you could just click a button from your bed.Would've been 5 stars had it not been for the controller.

Does what it says.
I have been looking at these for some time as having a small workshop at home and was running an electric heater. So I got this to replace electric heater but being 12v I also got power supply from a 3d print to run it.Instruction are very poor in the sence that you have 3 different types of heaters but not this one listed. But I ended up working it out that the heating unit in side is same as they all are but this one has its own gas tank which is even better. So fitted heater in place drill hole for exhaust pipe to go out side which you get in the kit. Wired up to power supply push power and boom nothing happened.Turns out Google was saying you have to prime the system for first use or if it runs out of fuel did that hit power and boom it is working. I run mine around 18 hz and about 18 degrees and workshop is lovely and warm.So in all I give this unit 100% and sell a 100% but instruction about 10% but Google it and your find your answers
