I wanted to make a straight edge jig. I have been lucky enough to come across some really good pallet wood and some throw away prices at my local lumber yard. Assembly was easy but to be honest it took me a while to figure out how to install the clamps. My clamps did not come with any instructions. So I went back to YouTube and found a couple videos with some pretty good instructions. (As a side note I have some pretty fat fingers so getting the screws on took me a second until I was a little more comfortable). Once everything was set up the clamps worked like a charm. The wood did not move when I ran it through my table saw. I was able to make adjustments in a snap but I noticed the screws were loose at times. I just started paying more attention to everything and it worked out fine. Another side note worth mentioning. When you are getting ready to clamp down make sure you are paying attention to the clamp and wood (distance) because you can easily force and bend the clamp if it’s to close. I would recommend this item to anyone trying to improve there woodworking skills.
