This book is in good condition and will be used for a collage course.

It fulfills the requirements of the college.

This was required for my college for a class that is part of my major. The topics are basic and overly obvious to me but perhaps that is because I am twice the age of my tech-addicted classmates. I took the next level of this required class before most of my current classmates were born so my main issues are with my college making me take this level of cousework but for younger students who spend more time interacting with screens than face to face with other human beings, I'm sure this material is quite useful. I think it is rather sad that the material in this book has to be covered in a class for young collegestudents.

Much cheaper than at the bookstore! Exact book I needed.

Just received this book less than an hour ago,nice quick delivery. That is the ONLY good thing. There is an immediate and obvious smell to this book, it has been chewed on and looks to have been.... peed on by whatever had been chewing on it. There are scribbles, highlights, and personal property from the previous renter still in the book. These rentals should be checked *thoroughly* before sending to someone else. Sure, its usable, but its gross and stinks. My daughter needs this book for college classes in the new semester, and now she's stuck with a peed, chewed up book. I'm really disappointed. I would give this negative 5 stars if I could. Sincerely, disappointed mother. [Side note: all other books we have rented were in great condition]

The way that this text has been structured is easy enough for the majority of everyday individuals to understand. Academic as it is, for me, I believe that anyone could benefit from studying this book. That said, unfortunately, the way it was received could have been slightly better...there were several small tears in the presentation of the first few pages (which considering the price, I would have expected better)...I can not say one way or the other where this flaw occurred.Overall though, a good referencing resource for both personal and professional living.
