It's important to understand that these candles do not have a dancing/moving flame. The flame is fixed in position. On a positive note, they do flicker and the faux flame is warm white. I see that other reviewers feel these candles look realistic. I personally will only use them in a type of candle holder that completely covers the candle and emits only a flickering glow ... something like a soapstone tealight holder or a punched metal tealight holder. I expect that when used in one of those types of holders they will emit a light that looks like a real candle. The timer function works well and I can't speak to battery life since I just received them. Update: I purchased some mercury glass candle holders and I'll attach a photograph of how these candles look in them.

These have now become my favorite LED candles. They are terrific. The bulb is flame-like and has just the right amount of brightness. But the best thing is the timer. Who knew? Turn it on and it runs for six hours, then turns off, and then turns back on again at the same time you turned it on the night before. I just find that awesome. On night four they were still bright. Will see tonight on night five. But really impressed by this little candle, lol.Edit: well over a week now and burning bright.Two suggestions, Maker of The Candle:1. Why such a small box? Package as a box of 48.2. Try different colors: white, blue, purple.

I love these candles! They are long lasting and look realistic with the small flickering flame. I like that they work on a timer. I have bought brand name candles in the past on which the batteries did not last but for a very short time and ended up throwing them away. I am going to use these in my jack o lanterns this year. I use them everywhere. This is the third set I have bought,because I find more places to use them. Highly recommend these! They don't have a timer switch, but they shut off after 6 hours.

Love that they turn on and off by themselves, battery life has been great! I’d previously bought a cheaper set and straight out of the box some were dead and the remote was a pain in the behind turning some on or off. These are so simple and painless as far as frustration goes.

These candles are great! I use them as decor in my house..they have timers so they go on in the evening and add a wonderful ambiance to my home. I have purchased these for my family members to to use in thier homes. The battery life is long and they are good quality!

I purchase a lovely wall art item that required 6 inch candles. However I felt these mini candles would look better and they enhance the wall art to a vast degree.

These tea lights have a different look. They give off good light and the battery lasts for quite awhile.
