Standard matchbooks with a plain white cardstock exterior, perfect for adhering labels onto! The visible front side that you would put a label on is 1.5 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall. I used stickers with a transparent background and they worked perfectly. The match tips are white, not red.

Marches never light on first trying..

When in the bathroom? Light a match and save yourself and family from some unpleasantness that may waft throughout your home. As typical of just about all - if not every match - there is the initial sulfur smell. Other than that? All is good about these matches. I only experienced failure to light when the matches were damp, which happens in a bathroom environment. Do try to keep them dry and away from the inquisitive hands of children.

There is not too much to say about these. It is a basic product that used to be quite common, but is becoming harder to get. They are "paper" matches in plain white match books. I took two books out of the pack of 50 and lit two of the matches from each pack. They all lit on the first or second strike and they burn fine inside. Outside you'd really have to protect them from the wind. These are pretty flat but if you needed a pack to be totally flat you could tear out one row of matches and then you could probably fit the remaining book of matches into a wallet or flat EDC pouch. There are plenty of matches to keep in drawers (with the candles), in the car, by the barbecue, on top of the water heater, next to the furnace, in a pocket, or to give away. It's 50 packs of 20 matches for just a few dollars. That's a thousand matches. At the price I paid, that means each light costs six-tenths of a cent. Each book of matches cost me thirteen cents. What else can you get that is this useful for thirteen cents?

Great matches and are as good as the name brand ones.

I have mixed feelings about these matches. I bought them a few years ago and they worked wonderfully. When I used them up, I repurchased them. But they were different it seems. They do not light as well. When you strike them, they do not always light. About a third of the matches in the matchbook don't light. But when I bought them years ago, they worked each time. I don't know if I got a bum batch or what. I will continue to use the ones I have but I I'm not sure if I will repurchase when I am looking for more matches. The price was great, but the quality wasn't the same as it was a few years ago.
