Q: I bought this valve and installed it on my tank with a 6.5 hp motor. I can not get he relief over 400 psi and it kills the engine dead. What is going?

I had a greater HP engine and it didn't do that, but my weaker engine would. You may need to look up some YouTube videos to see how they corrected that by adjusting the tensioner.
