Hi, this rupes machine only runs at 110v, but Singapore runs at 230v. If i were to buy a step down transformer, does it works the same? Thank you.

Yes the Rupes machines that we sell are 110V but if you get he appropriate stepdown transformer, it will work.

What is the year of manufacture of the product?

I purchased mine in 2018. However, when it was manufactured if beyond my purview.

I gathered from another review this is a forced rotation DA is this correct?

You must have gotten some bad information or possibly you read a review about a different Rupes model. This IS NOT a forced rotation DA...This is a long throw orbital polisher that does not have a forced rotation or rotary motion to it. If you are interested in a forced rotation machine made by Rupes, the model is the LK900E.
