These bags are amazing! It keeps food, probably twice as long as our refrigerator. Beware, this does not include the $50 device, but it’s worth the money with the food you’ll be saving for longer periods of time.

I've primarily used the vacuum sealer to preserve colby and cheddar cheese bars, and it really seems to help with increasing the time they can be stored before becoming moldy. The basic set didn't provide enough bags for my daily uses. The bags appear to be quite durable; I haven't had to retire one from regular service yet.

These are great bags and I love using them. Especially for keeping my big blocks of cheese in the refrigerator. I also use them to store items in the refrigerator. My only gripe is I wish they would last longer. I do find that after multiple uses it is time the zipper gets warped and doesn't hold the seal. I wish they were not so expensive and they could be a little thicker. If I use them for freezing anything with rough edges, it will ruin the bag. For example, I make bacon chips and freeze them in these bags. But, the suction doesn't hold.

I love idea of reusable bags and they are dishwasher safe! Love it!

I absolutely love all the sizes of these bags. I store all my cut cheeses in the small ones. Flash frozen chicken, meatballs, beef and pork. Yes they are pricey but lose one block of specialty cheese and they pay for themselves.

. . . they frequently don't stay sealed, despite having done everything correctly. Also, it is sometimes impossible to tell why they aren't sealing, for example, no visible hole. But the bottom line is that if they're not staying sealed, they're not much good to you - and certainly not for the price of them. Hard to clean. If you're going to do it, clean they out immediately - don't let them pile up to clean out all at once or you'll want to kill yourself for buying these. A good way to clean them out is heat a bit of water in the microwave and pour it in the bag with a drop or two of dish soap and scrub with a small brush; then rinse and hang to dry or dry them by hand. The containers are a different story. If you get the Zwilling containers with sealable lids, those are GREAT. Also, I accidentally dropped one of the glass dishes on a porcelain tile floor and it actually bounced - no breakage. The bags are a hassle.

these bags work really well. And I put them in the dishwasher and they still work perfectly. The containers are really nice but not so good. they don't keep their vacuum. So now, I stick to the bags.

Works perfectly

I purchased the whole Zwilling system from other distributer, just needed extra sandwich and storage bags, esp for breads and meats. Works very well, no leaking or air escapes. Happy with the purchase. One thing, I tried to vacuum a bag with fresh herbs, they turned out wet, messy and squashed. I started to store the herbs in a Zwilling container instead and use a paper towel. The same goes with soft fruits, esp. berries, they get crushed and let all the liquid out in a puddle on the bottom of a container. The pump has a strong suctions. The berries should be freezed first. Still experimenting with breads and a manual stop of the pump half way. Other than that I believe in the system, a great toy and saves energy, time,$$, odours, freshness, space.
