Small is right. It's a tiny little thing. Have others for my dogs and was going by their size. I think this is the same "small" as the one I have if you go by ounces, but this is taller, so much smaller in diameter. Was going to return it, but it might work for a water dish. Definitely not a food dish.

I like these to start small puppies on dog food to minimize mess. My only issue is that you have no choice in color and received 2 blue ones.

I bought this for my guinea pigs because they were tipping their other bowl. This one tips also. It's a heavier bowl, but does tip still.

I was trying to buy something that wouldn't tip over and this thing immediately tipped over. It's not heavy. So if you are looking for what I was looking for this bowl isn't for you either.

the bowl is very thick and smaller than i expected. it does not hold very much liquid and is frankly kind of ugly.. my cats don't seem to like it very much either.

I love this! I wish it came in more colors but it's perfect for gross wet cat food and is heavy enough it doesn't make noise.

It was purchased for my daughter. She uses it as a water source in her hermit crab tank. I have no complaints. Works well and is steady.

I had to attach industrial velcro onto the bottom and the shelf of my cage because they kept knocking this bowl over. I have two 5 MTH old rats.

It works fine. What I didn’t like is that they did not nest together well to put away.
