Excellent sockets
I am very happy with Tekton impact sockets and use them almost exclusively now. They take a lot of abuse, have a decent case that is not bulky, have a top notch warranty and usually have no skips in sizes. The range is ok, but I would prefer extending to 21mm vs 19mm. The 7, 8 and 9mm could be removed to make room for this both in space and cost. I am not going to impact fasteners of that size with 3/8 anyway, so I would prefer the sizes I will use. You might use the 8mm with an air ratchet (which often suggests impact sockets), but 7 and 9 I just do not see as useful in this set at all. The 20 and 21mm, those are both used on brakes for some vehicles, far more useful. These are laser etched and have no stamping. This was concerning to me at first, but after contacting Tekton support I was informed that should the etching wear off and become unreadable, they will replace the socket under warranty. Tekton provides top notch support and service, I might even say the best I have experienced from a tool brand. If you have issues with your product, I would feel confident that they will make it right. These are made of CR-V metal, which was strange to me at first as I was always to understand that impact sockets and extensions should be CR-MO. Using these sockets I can say that there is no abnormal wear or damage to the anvils on my impact tools, the sockets take a solid beating without major deformation and do not cause fastener damage. I since also learned that it is not only the metal that makes the socket suitable for impact, but also the hardening process. I am unsure how these sockets would hold up in a professional environment compared to CR-MO sockets... which will wear faster I do wonder. For me as a home user, the price of these sockets with the addition of the top notch support make the purchase of Tekton sockets a solid choice.

These have worked fantastic so far
These have worked fantastic so far. I purchased them because I have sworn off buying sockets and wrenches from Harbor Freight. HF impact sockets have a gritty coating to them that is sort of like chalk board and so the sockets are not very nice to handle. In contrast, these have a very nice, smooth matte black coating and are well made. They feel quality and the case is very nice for carrying them around in. I don't like having to spend extra money on a rail after purchasing a socket set. They markings on each socket are extremely helpful as they are large and easy to read. Makes finding the correct socket so much easier.

I'm liking Tekton more and more
At about $1.46 per socket (as of March 2016), it's pretty hard to beat this deal. Amazon got me to bite when they sent me one of those "Based on your purchasing history, you may also be interested in..." and, we all know how the rest of the story goes.I've purchased quite a few other Tekton tools in the past and have been very happy with their value.I must officially be old now, because I love sockets that have the sizes laser etched on the sides. Sometimes I'd have better luck scoring a date with Olivia Wilde than reading the small, barely readable stampings on the socket sides. The etchings on these sockets is large and easy to read. The sockets come in a really nice case. Generally I throw cases away, but I plan on keeping this one.I did have a problem with the 7mm socket. The hole was machined (or punched or however they make sockets) incorrectly and it measured 10mm. It was obvious the socket was no bueno. I hate to say it, but if this socket were born to a Spartan family, this cute little socket baby would have been left out for the wolves to feast on. Anyway, I went to Tekton's website and used their online warranty claim service to report my problem and was quickly contacted by their Tool Solutions Grand Master (Dave) who had a replacement shipped out to me in short order. If you've ever wondered how good their warranty/customer service is, it's great. I'm impressed. As far as the sockets themselves, I've already used them a few times on some front suspension work and they've worked great. I'm not a professional mechanic, so I don't know how they would hold up in a professional shop being used daily, but for my purposes I have no doubt these will last many years."How can this guy give this product 5 stars when he got a bad socket? This guy is smoking bat guano!" These sockets are a great value. A similar set from a tool truck will cost you almost 10 times as much. I had a bad one and got a replacement set with no hassle. They do what's asked of them and work well. In my book, that equates a solid five-stars.

easy to read numbering
A hard cover case ,easy to read numbering, good fastener fit, no skipping sizes, and so far they are durable. I have not done any heavy impact air hammer work with them so far,but I have half inch drives for that- so thats the only thing I can't comment on. I have rotated a V8 engine at the crank with half inch adapter and ratchet and no rounding the socket. Impact sockets at chrome price, useful metric socket sizes, and many sets out there are not as good. The price point versus usefulness earns five stars, I have rated many products for automotive use (some 1 and 2 star ) I rarely give anything a five.

Great set, you get more than what you pay for.
You just can't beat this set for the money. I wish they had gone with something other than laser etch labels, but hey... for the price and the quality of the sockets themselves, you really can't beat it.I used these all weekend on a suspension job I have going. They stood up well in my 3/8" impact wrench. The size I find is true to the fasteners with minimal free play and not overly snug. The case is very trim and tidy. I only wish the seats for the sockets were a little bit deeper so as to allow them to sit more snug as the case is moved around while open, but not a big deal.

Value for money
I own Sunex 3/8 impact socket set as well. Was pleasantly surprise that the tekton sockets are actually thinner than the Sunex as Tekton is CR-V while Sunex is Cro-mo steel.Certainly highly recommended for it quality and value!
