Very nice product. The guides were helpful and the rocks were smooth for painting. My 7 year old grand daughter loved it. Nice gift for creative minds.

I actually ordered these to place in a small bed in my garden in drought-stricken California. I wanted rocks that were rounded and smooth, and I didn't need a lot of them, just enough to place between the desert plants in the bed. Some of the rocks were fairly large and plate-like, so I decided to give them to the grandkids to paint. I haven't heard back from them yet on how good they were for painting, but I had to wash the rocks beforehand as they were dusty from being polished, I'm guessing. I may try painting a few myself, but about a third of the rocks in the set I received were small and pebble-like, great for landscaping but I suspect not so great for painting on.

I'm using them for writing a word or a few of what God has done for me that I'm thankful for and put them in a jar that says thank you Jesus, You are my Rock.

These rocks were perfect for doing a rock painting activity with kids. They’re big enough to decorate, but not too heavy. They are also smooth. My only complaint is that a few of the rocks were quite a bit smaller than the others. Overall, they worked out well and the kids had fun.
