I have a 55 pound boxer mix that's fairly lean and with long legs and a wide chest. I purchased the X-Large for him and it was too long, covering his tail. This time I bought a Large in a different color and it's a little snug but it's cotton so it stretches and fits more comfortably than the XL. He loves it and it's great for the winter months!!

I never thought I'd be one of those people that put clothes on their dog. But my 50 pound pit/lab mix apparently hates cold weather. He would refuse to go outside and then pee/poop in the house.I ordered an X-Large, it's a little tight around his chest but overall fits him perfectly. He LOVES wearing it (which I did NOT expect). It has a little slit at the hood so I can still hook a leash to his collar - I've also loosened his harness and put it over the hoodie when going for walks.He's able to go to the bathroom wearing it! It's easy to put on him and keeps him warm. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Our dog is a big girl. 95 pounds, a pitty-boxer-hound mix. She has a very wide chest and narrow belly/butt. I read all the reviews for big dogs, and held my breath in ordering this. I went with the XXL, figuring I could alter it, if it was too big. Her dimensions are: 22" neck, 33" chest, 30" length. The XXL JUST fits, and a bit snug, which I like (it has loosened up a little over the past few days). Other shirts she's had have been too loose and she can get her legs stuck inside while sleeping. The shirt is much too long (about 5" too long) but that's ok. But if she was a HE, that would be a big problem. People ordering smaller sizes have commented that the neck-opening is too small. The XXL neck opening is quite large, and maybe a bit too large, as it falls back on her shoulders instead of staying put around her neck. No matter: the hood just sits like a collar instead of a hood. She loves it for cold morning walks and for our cold house in winter time, she's very happy. I'd get another.

When I got this hoodie for my dog I was really pleased The material felt soft and it looked well made. I decided to keep it even though lengthwise it was too long and we had to fold it over by her tail.However, we did not notice an issue until after we put on the sweater and took it off a couple of times. The holes for the front paws were not big enough to easily remove the sweater and we noticed that it began rubbing her fur off. Now she has bald spots by the “ armholes.” I have since recycled the sweater as I did not feel I could even donate such an item to a shelter. I would not recommend this item until the manufacturer fixes the design flaw.

I ordered the large size for my 40-pound pit/bulldog mix. She's short in the legs, and very broad in the chest, so I wanted something to fit her frame. This fits nicely in the front, but is a bit loose around her smaller waist. The waistband ribbing is not very wide, so it doesn't do much to draw it in. I may stitch in a bit of elastic on the belly side to help close the gap between the shirt and her skin.The large might be a bit too large on her, but it does fit. The part on her back fits nicely down to her tail, and the shirt's curve on the belly side allows her to squat for her business without dragging anything into the mess.There's no zipper, so this hoodie must be pulled on over the dog's head. My dog's fine with that, but some dogs might prefer something with a zipper.

LOVE this sweatshirt as does Mickey!! Perfect fit for my 12# MinPin (size small). Measures 12 inches down the back and has about an 18 inch chest measurement. It was a little snug getting on but not bad at all. I’m sure it will get a little loose, the more it’s worn.Mickey absolutely loves the sweatshirt and I’ll be getting additional colors!Great quality and very warm. A perfect fit!

I'm so bummed this didn't fit my Stella. She's a pit mix (golden retriever/pit bull/shepherd) so she has kind of a barrel chest. The XL fit right in most places except the chest. The leg holes are placed just a little too close to the neck opening, so it was stretched too tight across her chest and front "shoulders" (and resulted in the leg holes pulling tight to the front). I think going a size up would make the length too long. I'm so disappointed because the hoodie was very soft, so cute and felt like good quality. Might have to check out some brands that area cut more for bully breeds.

This little pink hoodie looks precious on our little dog and helps keep her warm on early morning or winter walks. She has a rather long body and it covers her down to her little tush. Many doggy sweaters look like vests on her, but this one fits. It is a tad baggy around her belly, but it's a hoodie, so it's okay if it doesn't fit tight like a sweater. We purchased the 16 inch medium hoodie. Our dog is 18 lbs, with a chest measurement of 19", waist 15", neck 12" and neck to base of tail 16".The directions on the sweater says to machine wash, hang dry, but I throw it in the dryer and it comes out fine.

We love these hoodies. Ordered pink size18 for my 44lb girl, fits her perfectly even though she's 20" long she's super skinny and I didn't want it to be baggy because she's very active running through the bush. My little guy wears the 10 in turquoise, he's 9lbs and fits perfectly. These are a medium to light weight jersey sweatshirt material and wash up amazingly!My only suggestion is, offer a male/female selection as I had to cut his shorter in the belly, which worked out just fine but a shame to have to alter the garment.

I was very excited initially. Looked like a good product at a good price. However I can only give this 2 stars, as this is advertised as a 100% cotton hoodie. In reality it is 65% polyester and only 35% cotton. Normally this wouldn't be too bad but my dog is allergic to Polyester. So not only can I not use this but it could have also endangered my dog if I had put this on him without checking the label first.The actual product itself looks pretty good though and it looks like it would be warm enough, just sucks that I cant use it. Big let down. I've started the refund process...

The sweater fits as described (XL for a 75lb American Staffordshire Terrier), but the company lied, it is made of 65% polyester. That's why they lost points with me, it seems otherwise decently made.
