Best Catflap
This is way better than my old catflap; it's larger and therefore more comfortable for my medium-large sized cat. Also, the insulation around the edge of the flap makes it open and close quietly so I don't get woken up by my cat entering or leaving the house at night. I used to have a smart catflap which paired with my cat's microchip, but replacing the batteries on the flap became tiresome so I prefer the manual locking mechanism on this model - smart catflaps are only necessary if there are other cats in your neighbourhood that try to get in your house!

My cat could still get out!
We put the lock on for him to be unable to get out, but could get back in. He was too clever and saw the weakness in the side he could get in and clawed this this to get out! Locks aren’t strong enough. Otherwise, very good

Locking
Generally it's a good flap, easy to install and serves it's purpose, but the locking mechanism could be improved as when locked the sides of the flap still open a bit.

Rubbish.
Cat goes through the cat door and it stays open at an angle, pointing outward or inward depending on he direction the cat walked through. When it's cold outside, this is the equivalent of leaving the door open and the cold comes right through. I am currently keeping the heat in by walking over and manually drawing the wide open flap close, and then putting a cushion against the cat flap to stop the draft. Did I mention the gap at the top of the cat flap where the hinge is? Another gap for the cold and the wind to come right through. My house is colder since I installed this thing, I absolutely hate it. Looking to replace it asap with something that does not create a wide open gap for the wind and cold to come through, day and night.
