Talk about being portable! This stand is also lightweight, but very strong.Pop up tents can be more expensive than buying really large unbrellas and you can throw away once the sun has destroyed them. This stand makes it easy.

I have a beach umbrella but there's no soil around my personal outdoor area so I began looking for an umbrella stand. I was however never going to pay the prices I had found others for. This looked basic, easy to use and price was decent. So happy I bought it! Now I'll have some shade this summer 🙂

As a mobile DJ, I have to dj outside and relying on the customer to have adequate shade is not always the best way, so I bring this with my very light and water proof umbrella and I don't have to worry about my equipment to get sun or water damaged. A regular base is just too heavy and this one is super light and it snaps into place. I would be weary on a windy day but I put a sandbag on it or I put a bungee cable around the table so it does not fly away but so far it has remained in it;s place.The only two things to make this a full 5 star review.Wish it came in multiple colors, and my umbrellla just barely fit in it with some tugging so maybe make it just a tad bigger as you can screw it tighter anyway.enjoy the shade
