The smell of the candle is great, though at first I hesitated to light the candle as it is packaged in a plastic based. I was afraid that the plastic may melt. though in the end it didn't. But I am still concern that when the candle burned down to the bottom, the plastic may melt. So wondering why the candle is packaged with a plastic base.

These are small votive candles. The cost might seem higher but they last SEVERAL TIMES longer than parrafin candles. They are probably cheaper in the long run.

I use these in my tea warmer and they work nicely and longer than expected. Clean burning but a little expensive for tea lights.

I only use bees wax and some sold locally are very expensive. These are well made and affordable.

I have been using and making my own beeswax tealight candles. They are much nicer to use. They burn clean, have no scent, and last a pretty long time. Let's take a look at these.HOW THESE COMEThese come in a box of 12.BASEThis is a plastic base instead of metal.QUALITY OF WAX AND WICKBoth the wax and the wick are decent quality.LONGEVITYI only get about 3 hours out of these tealights, but I feel that it is because of the plastic vs metal pans they are in. I have included a photo to show you how much wax does not get used. I can melt it and remake a tealight or two, but it is inconvenient to do. I would prefer these burn all of the way.THE BOTTOM LINEI love these tealights. They are scent free, they burn clean, and they do last a while. If they were in metal instead of plastic I think they would burn longer and use up all of the wax too.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. I want to give them three, but they are still pretty nice despite the problem.
