Just what I needed!
Worked better than expected, fully contained and has a nice plush seal on the back side, worked perfect for a small wall mount sub for my daughter dance studio! Great way to find use out of an old JL from my youth!

Very punchy amp. Good price. Easy install.
I purchased this to breathe life into a BIC F-12 subwoofer who’s plate amp had failedThe BIC subwoofer has a 12 inch driver.I was outside of the warranty. So I had nothing to lose and when I found this product at $109 .....it was much less than replacing the whole subwoofer; so I took the gamble. The old subwoofer used to cut out at high volumes due to heat and no heat sink on the back of it.When you’re at the pool and really cranking the tunes at high-volume you really want that bass response to stay on target....when it drops out it ruins the whole song.Installation of the new amp involved making a hole in the back of the original cabinet a little larger. A little minor surgery with a jigsaw and a fine tooth blade was all it took To make the new amp fit snugly. The new amplifier drives the 12 inch driver just fine with a lot more power And response. As suspected, the original BIC plate amp was weak, muddy in response and essentially shite. Frankly, I think it was insulting my music .I’ll keep abusing this subwoofer at high volumes for a few months and report back.If this sub woofer does not drop out after prolonged high-volume usage over the next few months, then I’ll assume the five stars I gave it from the offing are warranted.

Excellent replacement option
I have a Polk PS110 where the plate amp died. Attempts at repairing the factory plate amp failed, so I picked one of these up.I wasn't expecting a lot, but first impressions, the transformer and power caps were easily twice the size of the factory setup. After a few nights of listening to some music, I'm highly impressed. The sub sound better now than it ever did with the factory amp installed. It rumbles basically the entire house enough to freak out my dog.Installation required widening the factory amp opening a bit, easily accomplished with a jig saw. I also put some cork in the factory bevel along the top and bottom to help keep things sealed.Worth every penny!***Update***I've found that the transformer on this amp stays very hot, even when the amplifier isn't in use and the amp is switched "off". I'll be unplugging it while not in use to reduce power consumption from now on, but it's still a recommended buy!

Requires two inputs for full 100 watts but very good value and performance.
This is a very good amplifier. The bass is full and tight. Auto-On feature works well and the volume & cross-over controls work smoothly. Their is plenty of drive for a home studio or theater. The given dimensions are a bit larger than the actual device. To get the full 100 watts, you must use both inputs (either as stereo inputs or a y-cable) so a switch to bridge the inputs would be useful. The review asked for a sheerness and thickness rating (not sure what they mean) but this is a very good value. I will purchase again.

Worked great, but died after 2 year.
I used this to replace the powered subwoofer in a Polk audio subwoofer which went through 2 amps in about 5 years. I had hoped for better longevity with this one when purchased in Dec 2022. This is a nice product , fit well, and sounded great. Now in Dec of 2024, it is dead. A very muffled, low power bass comes out, the lights are on, but it no longer works. I wish I could find one of these that lasted more than a couple of years before joining the e-waste heap. Sigh.

Great replacement amp for Polk PSW111
I purchased this amp to replace the factory amp in my Polk PSW111 that had crapped out after a few years. The Dayton amp was a bit smaller in width than the Polk that it replaced but i was able to make it work by drilling some new pilot holes in the sub unclosure and just filling in the old screw holes with RTV sealant. Whole job took less than 30 minutes and i couldn't be happier. This amp is beefy and provides more than enough punch and trust me I've put it to the test with my Onkyo receiver. Some people say the auto on feature doesn't come on until higher volumes but i noticed it comes on at about 30% which is better than the Polk amp did so I'm plenty happy. It is deep so be sure to measure for that but it fit in my Polk just fine. Also, i am using the LFE input and is not a difficult setup just buy a rca Y adapter (1 female to 2 males) and connect them to the rca left and right in and turn the crossover all the way to the right and your good to go. Now I'm just looking for another used Polk with a fried amp so i can get another Dayton amp and have another sub 180 degrees out for my system. I put a video on youtube under "Polk PSW111 amp replacement" if you would like to see how i did mine.

Need A Replacement Amp For A Infinity HTS 20 System?
This amp plate is worth every dollar. I replaced a blown amp plate in a Infinity HTS20 system and this plate I think is WAY better then what was in it. It required opening the hole a little. The plate is very well built. It is made with a nice heat sink on the back. The Infinity amp plate did not have have any at all. It also has nice banana jacks which the Infinity had those cheap spring one. Even Has auto shut when not in use. Amp is totally enclosed as well. Very Very impressive . I was going to try to have my old plate serviced but the pc board was total coated with some type of epoxy on it. Then I read the module usually blows because of electrolytic capacitors going bad. And I thought Harmon/Kardon Built Quality products . Everyone needs to rethink that one. So glad I consider this plate. The unit sounds even better then before.
