Looks like when the pump went the transformer feeding it did ...
Been working 2 weeks now with no issues. Even quieter than the original pump. Installed on a Watts Premier ZRO-4 reverse osmosis filter with no issues DIY. I paid $63.20, about 1/2 the price of what Watts wanted. I should have checked the transformer also. Looks like when the pump went the transformer feeding it did also. I ordered the Elk TRG2440 24VAC, 40 VA AC Transformer with PTC Fuse for $17.99. This is a plug-in that hangs from the outlet. The PTC fuse means it automatically resets. The original transformer probably had a fuse, but was unrepairable. Or you could buy the AQUATEC CDP6800 booster pump + transformer 110V offered by Amazon for $79 which is about the same $ and the power cord goes to power cube. Don't know about auto reset on this one.

This was a perfect replacement for my pump which went bad after about 10 years of intermittent use on my RO water purifier. Installation was pretty simple except that a couple of fittings that had to be removed leaked on reassembly. A few new fittings from Lowes took care of the problem

A good replacement for the pump that ships with PWRO4ZRO ZRO-4 ZeroWaste Reverse Osmosis System.
This pump replaced the pump that shipped with the Watts (PWRO4ZRO) ZRO-4 ZeroWaste Reverse Osmosis (RO) System. The original pump failed after several years. The mounting hardware for this pump didn't fit exactly like the hardware for the pump that originally came with the RO system but it was serviceable and the retrofit required no fabrication. The pump mechanism itself seems identical to the RO system's original pump; the only difference appears to be the mounting hardware.

Silence of the pump
I freaked out when I plugged this in, because it made NO noise. I grabbed the water line and felt the water pulsing through it! I have NEVER seen a pump make no noise. I am using this to boost the water pressure in my RO system. I works amazing. I cut the line going into the filters, and put the 40 psi shut off just before it goes to the fridge. It is all under the sink and you cannot hear it at all. HIGHLY Recommended. I know it is a bit expensive for the whole kit, but it is worth it. I can calibrate the fridge water accurately now.

Bought this in Sept 2014 and it already went out. I have to get another and same problem with the previous one. Having plumber order and get new one. It's ok if doesn't run a lot. Otherwise burns out quickly.

Fits my WATTS Reverse Osmosis System
Quick replacement. 10 minutes. First unplug old pump. Next, unhook inlet and outlet water (push circumferential locking clip where pipes enter the pump to release tension). Unhook electrical clip. Remount onto original mount. Re-connect everything and plug back in. You now have your zero waste system working. Mine prior pump (10 years old) had been leaking a bit the past few years but suddenly started making very loud noises.
