These work really well IF you can adjust to YOUR preferred length. Hole spacing is too wide and tension too high to stretch only a couple of inches. Material seems high quality, ok on painted surfaces, and robust for moderate loads. Another example of a potentially 5-star product that only deserves 4 stars because of an easily correctable design flaw.

These are heavy duty stretchy. I love that I can adjust the size.

Good quality strap style bungees. The bungees have holes in them at various intervals for the hooks to attach to, making it easy to get the right size/length when using them. I've used these for lumber on roof racks, tarps on my boat, cooler and beach-chair tie-downs on my chitch basket, along with various other cases and they haven't let me down yet. The material is some sort of plastic-rubber polymer. They aren't full rubber and the stretch isn't quite as good as full rubber, but the material seems more durable and less succceptable to dry-rot vs. real rubber. They also don't leave black marks (or any marks) like rubber does. The hooks are plastic, but I have never been concerned with them breaking. I would definitely buy these again.

This product is not your regular bungee. It’s a rubberized material that is heavy. Purchasing two or more allows for concatenation at six inch increments by using the holes and hooks and attaching together. Concatenation is necessary because the stretch is tight and would easily rip a boat or car cover from their clamps. I’ve owned for a few weeks now and am very happy with the purchase. The standard bungees wear out from rain and weather and lose elasticity. The hooks are heavy metal but coated with a plastic or enamel resin making less likely to damage the paint on a vehicle, a danger with any cover straps on a car. I would be weary if using on the top of a vehicle or truck bed without protection. They are hard enough to damage the surfaces. I wish someone would come out with rubberized coatings for these like exercise weights have, to protect car surfaces.

These are the best thought out and most versatile bungees I've used to date. They cost a bit more but put the old " rubber band" style bungees to shame. With a package of four 36" bungees you get two 6 footers or four 36 inchers and everything in between. The well spaced holes along the straps allow you to fine tune tightening your load. Only time will tell how well they hold up but I've seen YouTubers who have had them and put them through their paces for more than 7 years without any fails, so I'm optimistic.

Hooks are strong and mon-marring. Stretch cord will take and maintain high tension. Adjustment holes are the true magic of these cords allowing almost any length to be secured. Will buy more.
