Great pool for the kids!
Was a bit skeptical about getting one of these but not anymore. My 5 year old LOVES it and it is the perfect size for her. I can even get in it with her and not feel like a giant in a mud puddle, lol. So much better than the inflatable pools from previous summers and no complaints on the sturdiness. I purchased the pool with no filter option, then purchased the Intex Krystal Clear 1000 GPH filter pump here on Amazon...I recommend that pump at a MINIMUM...the 330 GPH pump that is included with some options would be virtually useless with this pool. Assembly was not difficult for me alone other than issues lining the pins up with the bottom hole and forgetting the protective rings the first time around and having to re-install every pin. Filter setup was no problem and I do recommend you go ahead and get the deluxe pool maintenance kit and wall-mount skimmer. I'm already considering moving to a saltwater system but since I bought the chlorine from Lowe's I'll probably wait until next summer. BTW, to get the perfect chlorine level took about 13 oz. of the 1 Gal. chlorine solution I bought from Lowe's for under $4. Also had to use some pH UP to get that balanced prior to adding the chlorine. If you're new to owning a pool like me, then consider the following...you'll need something under the pool for padding and protection. I setup my pool on a brick patio so I didn't put down any sand for leveling. I found 1/2" thick interlocking foam mats at HF sold as "anti-fatigue" mats on sale for $6.99 per pack of 4. These mats are 25" sq as opposed to most of the exercise type mats which are 24" sq. You need 7 packs to cover the area for the pool but I bought enough to cover a 10'x20' area since I'm installing a ShelterLogic 10'x20' canopy ($265 on Amazon) with screen sides over the pool and creating an area for the adults to lounge while watching the kids. Anyway, the foam pads worked out great and give the perfect amount of cushion underneath the pool for walking. You'll also need cleaning equipment, so the Intex deluxe kit includes a telescoping pole, large mesh skimmer (get a small mesh one from Lowe's or somewhere as well), and a pool vacuum which attaches to your filter's intake port in the pool. if you have children, which I'd assume you do if purchasing this sized pool, then you'll likely need a ladder for them as well. My 5 year old daughter couldn't quite get in and out over the 30" sides, and she's tall for her age. I did purchase the Intex 42" ladder ($48 on Amazon), which is sturdy enough for the kids but lacks a platform between the top steps...so I had to add one so that my daughter felt comfortable enough to use the ladder. I used some scrap plywood and foam matting left over, but I wouldn't recommend the plywood unless you have marine grade...it's not very water resistant, just what I had laying around. So to the new pool owners...the $80 pool actually ended up running me about $640 to get setup the way I wanted: Intex 10'x30" pool - $80 Intex 1000 GPH filter pump - $42 Intex pool cover - $16 (don't bother, it's crap) Wall-mount Skimmer and Deluxe Maint, Kit - $48 Intex 42" pool ladder - $48 HF Anti-fatigue mats - 13 x $6.99 = $91 (for 10x20 area, half that if you're only covering the pool 10'x10') Small mesh skimmer net - $9 at Lowe's Chlorine, pH Up, pH Down, Test strips - about $32 at Lowe's ShelterLogic Max Ap 10'x20' 8 leg with screenhouse - $269 on sale from TSC or about $265 on amazon.

Easy to set up and well made
We got this to use on our back patio during the worst of this summer's temps. It arrived in only 3 day's time and we wasted no time unboxing. It took about 20 minutes to get it laid out and all the parts assembled. You have the option of hooking up a pump/filter to it or you can plug up the holes and just use it without any pumps. It's large and deep enough to sit in and be comfortable with 4 or 5 of your friends on these hot summer days. You're not going to be diving in it or anything like that but you can stay cool and relax in the water or on a raft. The poles and material are holding up well so far. No split seams. No tears. The sides are low enough for adults to easily get in and out. Kids may need a little help. This is a great affordable option for people to beat the heat but don't have any other bodies of water to go to.

Best lil pool!!
We finally decided to go a little bigger than our original 6ft x12ft rectangle pool and got the 12x30 and we love it. It is so perfect for our yard, perfect to float around and beat the heat this summer. Super happy with our decision! So easy to set up and super sturdy. 10 out of 10!

**Great Pool, but Pipes Could Be Stronger**
We bought this pool for our backyard, and overall, it’s been a fantastic addition! The size is perfect for our family, and setup was relatively straightforward. The materials feel sturdy, and the liner is thick enough to give me confidence it’ll last for several summers. However, we did notice that a couple of the support pipes bent after just a few uses. While it hasn’t caused any major issues yet, I wish they were a bit stronger to match the quality of the rest of the pool. Despite this, we’re still really happy with the pool and would recommend it if you're looking for something affordable and fun! Just keep an eye on the pipes.

Has worked well for us all summer!
This is our first year with this pool, but there have been no leaks, easy to put up, and great fun for the kids. Taking care of the pool has been a breeze with the help of the following (all purchased on Amazon): • Filter upgrade: Intex Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 1000 GPH • Poolmaster 22260 5-Way Swimming Pool or Spa Water Chemistry Test Kit with Case • ATIE PoolSupplyTown 1" Floating Mini Chlorine/Bromine Tablet Dispenser • Swimline 8051SL Leaf Skimmer with 48" Adjustable Aluminum Telescopic Pole In our yard, the pool gets a lot of shade, so maybe that makes it a bit easier due to less algae growth. The pool sits on brick pavers so we installed it over insulation panels we picked up at Lowes or Home Depot. Not beautiful (they could be trimmed to fit which would look better) but relatively cheap and easy. I doubt if the pool is perfectly level, but it must be close enough. We've had no issues there. Side note: one of our concerns was that, because we live in Las Vegas, the pool water would get too warm. Not so. Again, probably because of the shade, but water stays cool/chilly. IMO, that's a good thing. Although mom and dad have gotten in with them a couple of times, It is used mainly by our grandkids, ages 6 and 3. They are recent NYC transplants and not exactly what you'd call little fish. Therefore, the fact that they can both easily touch the bottom makes this better and more fun for them than a built in pool (at least for now).

I bought this for my kids last summer. It was a little difficult to set up because of the size that the quality is excellent and the shipping was very fast considering the size of the product. It was durable I have five kids and none of them ruined it, so I consider that a win in my buck. We bought the recommended filter to go with it and it was easy to set up and lasted all summer with no issues. I would recommend this if you have a large backyard and kids who Love to swim
