NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Matte Lipstick - Sierra (Bronze With Pink Undertones)

I got Pale Pink. It is matte. It is smooth, it is velvety, it is long-lasting. It is PALE. It is PINK. Definitely giving me Barbie vibes. They don't make colors like this anymore. This is not a color that occurs in nature. I'm pretty sure it glows in the dark. I'm pretty sure it's not even a color, just a ~vibe.~ We are in 2025 and this lipstick was made by aliens in 3025. The world is simply not ready for this lipstick. I LOVE this lipstick

This is a very good matte lipstick. The factors I use to determine this are ease of use, true to color, fragrance/taste, texture, and lasting power. First of all, the tube is just like any other lipstick. It was new, sealed, sent to me in a box which was way bigger than I expected. It twists up like any other lipstick. Stays up, goes down like it's supposed to function. Is it true to color? Yes, and no. I think that the lighting of the photo shown here on the product description seems much brighter than it should be. The lipstick is a gorgeous glam color. I think it's just perfect and I love it. But I will say that I checked MANY other pics and swatches prior to purchasing and determined based on blogger opinions whether this would suit my skin color. It works. I love it because it can be natural and everyday as well as glammed up with some serious eye makeup. The lipstick itself is matte so you have to be aware that the texture is going to be slightly thicker than your average glossy or even just regular lipstick. I'm okay with this because it's matte and it needs to stay put. I drink a lot of tea during the day and water from a bottle and it still stayed fairly in place. That was a great plus for me. But I'm also careful about dabbing and not wiping my mouth with a napkin because it's like just removing your lipstick at the end of the day. I would recommend it. And I am going to look into getting more colors too. Hope this helps you!

Color is STUNNING. Formula is good but of all the matte lipstick brands I've tried, this one is a little odd. It's very thick and pasty. Don't get me wrong, it applies fine and feels fine on the lips and doesn't wander into fine lines or wrinkles. Not drying at all. It's a good value for the quality. I have other mattes in other brands, where I like the formula better but this one is fine. For the price and the gorgeous color, it's well worth it.

This is the best lipstick I've ever used. My favorite color of all too. I used Lancome for many years. Mac has excellent colors and I love their signature smell too. Mac will always be my splurging favorite. This has no smell whatsoever. Like Mac, Nyx has excellent colors, you just need to find what's right for you. My favorite Mac colors are "Act Natural", "honeylove" "Yash" & "Bronx". This shade is in that same color family, if you like those, you'll like this. This is nearly identical to Act Natural or Honeylove & definitely in the same color family as those mentioned. It's nearly 1/4 the price as Mac, 1/5 the price of Lancome, however, its cruelty free,(Mac or Lancome can't say that) it's more saturated & it has great staying power on your lips & it's none drying. Mac always dries out my lips. Some things to think about. This color "Butter" is perfect on my medium tone caucasian skin. Nothing even similar to the color of butter though. I would describe it as a medium beige/tan with a very slight lavender undertone. With a darker lip liner (Nyx Nude Truffle) it is perfect. All colors aren't for everybody, but Butter really works for me. I highly recommend Nyx matte lipstick & especially this color. One last thing, when one makes a review, please note the color you're reviewing, that would be very helpful. Without the color being included, the review is useless.

The NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Matte Lipstick in Summer Breeze is absolutely gorgeous! The clean blue-toned pink is vibrant yet wearable, making it perfect for both casual days and nights out. The formula is creamy and glides on effortlessly, providing full coverage in just one swipe. This is a staple in my purse ever since I discovered this color when i purchased to go with my pink bunny Halloween costume 8 years ago. Despite being matte, it doesn’t dry out my lips and feels lightweight and comfortable throughout the day. Apply it directly for vibrant nighttime weatr or pat it on with your finger for daytime. Plus, it stays put without smudging or fading too quickly. If you’re looking for a fun, flattering lipstick that performs well, this one is a must-try.

I love this 'perfect red' color and think it is rather versatile, bold, but not over the top. When this product is on my lips it is a very comfortable feeling lipstick, not dry feeling. However, I am very disappointed in how messy this lipstick is. I wear a bold lipstick color a few times per week, sometime I use lip liner, but not always. I was not confident with this product on my face because it has a tendency to migrate off my lips even with the use of liner. The product is soft and luscious feeling while it's on but I think this contributes to how easily smeared it is. Tons of it came off of on my coffee mug and I don't plan to wear this again if I need to be confident of its staying power without running into the bathroom every hour to check. If anyone has any recommendation how they made this product work for them I would invite hearing them. On a side note, I absolutely love wet&wilds $2 matte long wear lipstick. It is a TINY bit drying, but literally stays on for 3+ hours with no smearing and very little compromise to the color. I can wear the wet&wild one through a dinner and be confident that most of it will still look good. Overall, I do not think this lipsticks value is worth the price.

I love the color of this lipstick! So deep and is a very good matte lipstick. Was just what I was looking for!

Génial cette couleur matte, moi je l'utilise plus comme base, jais les lèvres foncer donc sa me serre de base, souvent je l'utilise avec un Gloss un peut foncer et j'obtiens une couleur tellement rare, qu'on me demande souvent qu'est-ce que jais mis comme Gloss ,j'adore !!! Merci NYX

El color está precioso. Lo recomiendo muchísimo a las mujeres que les gustna los colores intensos. No se quita el color, siempre está ahí.

Very good lipistic and long staying one

Super schöner altrosa nude-ton. Ich denke der steht jedem Hautton. Man kann ihn sowohl zum Alltagslook, als auch zum eleganten Abend make-up gut tragen. Die Farbe ist bei NYX produkten erfahrungsgemäß kräftiger und intensiver als auf den Bildern erkennbar. Habe auch die Farbe ¨Merlot¨, ebenfalls ein schöner pinkiger rotton. Der Lippenstift hält bei mir so lange, bis ich etwas esse. Und er trocknet die Lippen auch nicht aus, wenn man ein Lippenbalsam drunter hat. Ganz toll, ich werde ihn bestimmt wieder kaufen.
