Best. Toy. Ever.
We bought this toy when my oldest was 1 and we were heading on a flight with him. Now 7 years later this toy has been loved by all three of our kids and has been borrowed by friends for road trips and flights. One of my kids loved buckling and unbuckling it. Another loved playing peek a boo with the animals under the flaps on the back. Another just wanted to chew on the buckles. This is a high-quality toy that really stands the test of time. If you are considering getting it - you should!

Great for busy little fingers
I got this for my grandson's 2nd birthday and I think he's really going to like it. The buckles are just the right size and seem challenging, but not too hard to do up or take apart. Anything too difficult would bring on an attack of the terrible two's and end up at the bottom of the toy box. Seems well made.

You will love this for your toddler!
My toddler was 22 months when we purchased this to keep her busy on a 3hr plane ride. We hit the jackpot with this purchase!! Once I showed her how, she buckled and unbuckled for an hour it seemed like. I did have to help with the unbuckling on some as it was difficult for her to do. This toy is excellent for hand eye coordination & learning to match colors. The zipper pouch on it was perfect for hiding little treats for her to find when she unzipped it. Every child loves a seek and find and the flaps with animals underneath is perfect for that. We have had this toy for 2 months now & we bring it to restaurants to pass the time while waiting for our food. She never gets tired of it! She is so proud of herself after she buckles all of them. Best purchase for a toddler her age!!

Great QUIET car toy that actually holds my tot's attention!
I bought this for my 20-month old in preparation for a long car ride (3.5 hours). She's into buckles in the first place and likes to buckle herself into her high chair and also likes to fasten the chest clip on her carseat. She wasn't quite sure what to do at first but once we walked her through all the different buckles she LOVED it. I can't believe how long this keeps her busy. She will work on it for 20 minutes at a time, quietly talking to herself or occasionally telling me proudly that she got one of the colors -- "burple! geen!". I was worried she'd be able to do but not undo, but the only buckles she can't undo herself are the 'standard' ones that you really have to squeeze hard. Honestly, at first I thought $20 was a little much for this but it's worth every penny. She talks about the colors, she talks about the animals under the flaps, it's practice matching, it's hand eye coordination -- this is probably the best toy I've ever bought for her. She's also in that phase where she hates getting in her car seat and I used to try to bribe her with snacks or books and it was 50/50. What works every time? BUCKLES. This has to go in the house with us every night and I get an earful the whooooole car ride if I forget it in the morning. I don't worry about this in the car either since it's relatively soft -- not the worst thing to have thrown at me, lol. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

2 years later and still going strong
Bought this 2 years ago to get our 1 year old acquainted with hand dexterity. Thanks to these buckles, he wanted to undo and do all of the buckled things. Jokes aside, this is a great toy to get a toddler going with hand-eye coordination. I'll admit, this is a little above a 1 year olds pay grade. While the clips are easy to clasp and unclasp, the buckles are certainly much tougher to manipulate. That 1 year old is now 3 and he just recently began to undo the buckles. One other point, this is great for getting them started with colors as well.

Perfect quiet toy for my busy autistic preschooler!
It's hard to find "quiet" toys to occupy our autistic son in places where he can't bring his battery operated noisy toys (like church). This was a big hit with him as he loves buckling and unbuckling his car seat straps and other buckles and clips. It's soft and safe, colorful and cute. The back has cute little velcro flaps with numbers and animals underneath each one. It's super easy to pack in a diaper bag and is quiet and keeps little hands busy! We bought this for him when he was 2 and he still plays with it at nearly 4. I also love toys that don't come apart with pieces that can be thrown all over the place or lost. Whoever came up with this toy is brilliant (must be a mom) and has my sincere thanks!

Keeps attention of 1 1/2 year old, helps w/ fine motor skills
I got this toy for my 1 1/2 year old because he seemed very preoccupied with buckles on the changing table, high chair, stroller, wagon, etc. He loves this. It's a great item to keep him entertained in his crib or playpen when I'm preparing dinner or doing something that doesn't allow me to watch him closely. He's figured out how to buckle almost all the buckles, and even figured out that some buckles can be put together with different colors. It's still challenging for him because he struggles to unbuckle most of them. I recommend this buckle toy because it appears to help with fine motor skills -- something I didn't realize was so important until my older child (who excels academically) started school and struggled to zip his jacket properly and couldn't open twist-off water bottles, applesauce pouches, etc.

A must have for little ones starting to play with highchair buckles.
My son loves this toy. He enjoys the different buckles and flaps and when he found the zipper. He likes that most of the buckles are the same so he mixes and matches colors. I like that it is small enough to fit nicely in his lap and portable for travel and to entertain him in a shopping cart. I even use one of the buckles to secure it in place so he can't just toss it down. Great product for when a child is showing interest in putting together buckles. Sometimes they need help taking them apart in the beginning. But this is safer than my son on his tippy toes trying to play with the buckles on his high chair(which was when I went on Amazon to find a buckle toy and came across this one).

My 21 month old loves this toy!! Good for his fine motor skills and we can strap it onto the pram where it gives him something to play with!! Have recommended this toy to my mum friends.

The kids at my daycare have been using it for years and it's still has good as when I bought it. Year after year the toddlers love interacting with it and finding where each buckle goes. They love hiding toys in the pocket or simply putting their hand in it. Would recommend for any 18-24 months old.

Very pricey for what it is....BUT....it kept my 2-year-old entertained for most of a 16-hour flight! My son loved this toy and played with it for the first time on the flight. He was entertained for the flight there AND back. Of course afterwards, he mastered the skill, but still loves the toy. I've seen other moms handy enough to sew something similar, but with the cost of goods nowadays, this purchase really doesn't seem so bad. Great purchase for us!

Bought it for my 18m old to keep him busy on flights and it worked well. He loves playing with buckles right now so this is the perfect toy. The colours are great, and the buckles all work.
