These are perfect
My husband had surgery and we had to change the bandages pretty often. We bought these for when the wound was crusted over and we no longer needed to change the bandages. That is now, I put the first one on, it did take a bit, but reading the instructions would have made it easier LOL DUH. But they really do stick well. After about 3 or 4 days I wanted to change it just in case there was a little blood leaking, and when I went to take it off, it was a bit hard, that is a really good thing, but I did finally did get it off, Hubby said that was no where near as painful as the medical tape, that is good. But all in all, these are really good to have to cover surgery scares when it has crusted over just to protect it. Why do we still want it covered is because he is not suppose to lift anything for 6 weeks. So we don't want it rubbing on anything or tearing open, so we keep it covered. I believe these will last a week or even more. We only have taken showers with them on, so I can not say how it would do if submerged, like in a pool. These are worth every penny spent.

Great quality. Adheres well but does not tear fragile skin when removed.

Love Tegaderm for Great Wound Healing
Tegaderm has been a long-standing hospital and surgical wound care product. Used as directed it really helps wounds heal well. This Nexcare Tegaderm product is very useful for waterproofing and dirt proofing difficult wounds. I am a surgical RN and I use it at home for small wounds that need protection until they begin the healing process. Make sure to follow the directions on the box and follow your Dr's instructions. Great product, very useful and waterproof, excellent price point and delivered quickly. I keep this in my medical kit for quick use.

Good to always have on hand
While covering a large wound, this bandage breathes. I had a 1” diameter blister from a bee-sting which left a raw patch when it popped . After showering I let it air-dry completely. The Tegederm I purchased has a 1” wide gauze pad in the center surrounded by clear, adhesive which is easy to apply and protects the wound but lets it breathe. It can remain in place for 3 to 7 days and I ended up using all five in the package for a total of 19 days. My wound is healed although still discolored. Tegederm comes in many sizes.

Works like magic
Absolutely the best bandage I have ever used! I had a procedure to cut out a cyst from my lower leg and used these for the healing process. Each bandage lasts at least a week. I would change prior to that time to was. This is the only bandage I have used that does NOT hurt to remove. It is 100% waterproof u like others claim to be and protect your skin completely.

Expensive bandage
My son recently had back surgery and this is what was covering his incision, so I bought a box (of 5) so I could change the dressing. It’s been 10 days since his surgery and I just opened the 5th box. The clear adhesive covering is waterproof, but the gauze center part isn’t adequately absorbent, hence the need to change a couple times a day. The cost comes out to about $3 per bandage, a bit pricey.

Bandages…
I’m a diabetic and have a CGM. I know that the CGM is waterproof but I ordered these to be extra careful. I normally can’t use adhesive because of an allergy to it but I’m able to use the Tegaderm with pads without me constantly itching, redness and eventual bleeding due to the adhesive of a Band-Aid. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it in the end.
