Does this device support node addresses on the rs485 network? seems not, so how do i address a particular device?

Your RS-485 end device has to handle the addressing. This device simple converts RS-232 to RS-485. Any RS-485 devices hanging on the other end have to have their own addressing scheme via the protocol you're using.
