Review: Fifth element - The best fit out there on any pack system I’ve found. I use it for winter, I can pack really bulky wool blankets and sleep systems along with a change of clothes, tent and food for multiple days side waist pockets are absolutely horrible for what it’s worth the zippers just aren’t smooth with the weird curve they have and it’s more difficult to use them when you have no dexterity when you’re using gloves that’s my only gripe. Quality is great overall it’s been abused fairly and held up pretty well. Zippers are smooth and functional after many uses. Fairly simple pack with lots of space although it might look a little awkward if you’re not utilizing the space, remember to get the right size packs for your trips and don’t forget room for water and food when you’re planning and buying, stay safe and have fun out there

I really enjoy the shape of the zippers on the side pockets allowing for single hand use mostly. My picture is without the top lid because I was packing it into a duffel for checked luggage.

**Q: Can this fit a slim-built medium-height female?**
A: Not sure what slim fit medium height means exactly. They have specific parameters on the Osprey website you should definitely check out. 

That being said you would probably have to order the small-medium size pack. The Aether Plus has more adjustment range than I have seen with any other pack on the market. Essentially, this pack should fit you as well as any pack and probably the best fit you will get with a 100L size pack out there. The 100L is no joke and I can only assume you need it to climb mountains. If that is not your intention than I diffidently suggest a smaller pack which will fit you better. 

I climbed Mt Rainier in this pack June of this year, 2022. It was a good pack and fit me better than any pack I have ever used due to the size adjustments available for this pack. I am difficult to fit, I am 5'6 but a muscular wider frame at 185 lb. I went with the small-medium due to the height adjustments.

Great backpack: build quality, durability, style, zipper quality, weight, and functionality all fantastic. I wanted a quality lightweight backpack, that would last a long time. This pack is light weight, and very durable. Zippers are high quality, and the pockets are many and proportioned apspropriately. I researched a lot of styles and packs, and wanted a good size for daypacking and enough room to carry whatever I wanted. This pack has been great, has many different settings to adjust to your back size, and feels like its not even there. It keeps the weight off your shoulders and the mid strap helps weight distribution really well. It is somewhat rain and water repellent, as it rained during my last hiking trip and nothing got wet inside. Great pack, I will be purchasing additional hiking packs from Osprey as they last, great quality, and worth the price.
