This is a good concept, but poorly executed. The light is bright but the hook long and the attachment to the base flimsily. The thread gets stuck......

First off, the crochet heads are clear plastic. This allows the light to shine through, but the plastic catches on the yarn. The hooks themselves are longer than other crochet hooks, so you have to get used to that. Finally, the handle is very lightweight. The weight doesn’t feel right in your hand. Not a quality product, so I sent it back.

Downsides: The item was cracked when I received it; does nothing to the functionality but I’m worried about the longevity of the product. Next, the sizes run a bit bigger than normal crochet hook measurements and there’s a very small well to work with in the hook.Avid crocheter of 10+ years

This is a great idea for crocheters!! They are exactly as described and arrived very quickly - They have two levels of brightness and they shine like a flashlight! The size of this included are perfect - My only issue is the two small slot areas for wrench (included) insertion, I wish they would just make these screwable or able to be snapped into the holder instead of having the slot for the wrench (photo #2) because, as you can see in photo #3, the yarn tends to slide into that grooved area which quickly becomes irritating. I might try to fill these areas in with polygel on one of the hooks to see if it fixes this issue while still allowing me to trust them into the holder tightly enough to stay in - These are an awesome idea and they DO work well, just need to tweak the design a little more👍

While the concept is nice, and the handle and hooks seem to be good quality, the design is poor. There is a spot on the base of the hook where you use a small wrench to lock it into the handle. These spots have grooves which snag the yarn, constantly. Basically renders the hooks useless. I really wanted to like these, but I’ll be returning them.

I wasn’t really expecting much when I ordered it. It was an impulse buy. I saw it while constantly scrolling right on the bottom of the page I was on. I liked the idea of it and thought it could be pretty darn useful if the item page was true. It Seriously exceeded my expectations and I have to say, it is pretty freaking awesome definitely worth having. I actually like it way more than I thought I would. The grip is really comfortable to hold, the 2 different light settings are a lot brighter than I thought they would be and it holds a charge for a good amount of time. I use it more than most of my other hooks now. I have only charged it once, the day I got. And it hasn’t dimmed at all. Plus it’s honestly just a nice hook to work with. It works well. The only thing that could be an issue is that it seems like you could break it fairly easy just by twisting it too hard when putting a hook on. It is just light plastic so don’t crank on it super hard and you should be good.

The performance of these lighted crochet hooks is even better than I expected! I have small hands and the handle is comfortable in my old hands. I have cataracts and was concerned that I would need to quit using dark colors. That day May happen but not yet! I like the adjustable light intensity! The hooks are easy to install but it would be nice to have the wrench connected to the pouch with a long enough string so it cannot be lost since the wrench is necessary to install and remove the different sizes. The case is the right size for me. Thank you, Thank you for creating these for the small sized hooks! Also thank you for the tiny magnifying glass - sometimes I have wished I had a small one in the past! I look forward to spending Many Hours creating small soft dolls for children!I highly recommend this for EVERYONE who enjoys using small hooks. It would make a TERRIFIC GIFT because it comes with a carrying case.

First time using these and after using for an hour the tip came off and the side cracked . Super disappointed in the quality .However while using it I found it to be a nice smooth glide through the yarn until it fell apart.Update :Reached out to the company who sales this product the same day I posted this review and they have not responded backDo not buy from this company they don’t stand by their product .

I bought these crochet hooks that light up as I thought it would be easier to carry when going away. My problem is they are squeaky when using them going to try to rub talc on the hook and see if it helps. I should of read all the description before buying. If I can't use them will gift them to a member of family so they don't get put in a cupboard and left. X

The idea is good and it works as far as lighting your work. Sadly the quality of the hooks is lacking. Even with some light sanding, the hooks don’t slide through the yarn. Bought to see if the concept worked. If it had steel hooks, I think it would be successful. Back to a led lamp and the clover hook!

Ordered these for a birthday present off my mum in law didn't try them until after the expiry date to return. Unfortunately after just trying them out for the first time found they don't light up so useless

Like the fact they light up lovely & light to use
