Skechers Men's Diameter Vassell Sneakers

I got my first pair of Skechers Diameter Vassell shoes back in 2014. It was a white/black pair that sadly aren't available anymore. I'm still wearing them five years later. They are very well worn and needed to be retired to "around the house" wear instead of being my everyday shoe. I was very pleased to see I can still buy the Vassells, though it seems a little harder to find the various colors and sizes. I ordered up a pair of the Desert color shoes and I'm still happy to say they're still my favorite shoe. They fit and feel just as good as my first pair. The best part about the Vassells are their style. Skechers has done a great job of bringing some class to the everyday, casual shoe. They can easily be dressed up or down to fit many occasions. The Deserts are no exception and can be worn with a simple T-shirt and shorts or with a button-down shirt and khakis. The Vassells will continue to be my go-to shoe for their comfort, style and reasonable price. My only hope is these new pair of Deserts will hold up just as well as my original white pair. Overall, an excellent shoe that I would recommend to anyone.

Love this shoes! Sketchers is my go to casual shoe for years. Fits true to size. I base my other shoe and boot purchases off their size. I wear size 8...

Very comfy and good looking for a shoe. My favorite style has been discontinued and this replaced it. Love it. No complaints just took a few good wears to break in as normal. Will be getting another pair.

Great shoe so far. I first ordered a 9, which is what I normally wear, but it was a bit too large, so I went down to an 8 and it fits great. I was surprised how light these shoes are. Looking at them, you'd think they would be much heavier due to all the leather/suede used. While I wasn't expecting a heavy shoe, they were still lighter than anticipated, which was a welcome surprise. They seem to be made quite well. I don't usually buy Sketchers, but I really like the design and the Sketchers that I have owned in the past have been good, so I took a shot with these. The style I like quite a bit. They've got both a casual and sporty look to them. I personally like that they're basically all black. The outer-sole seems to have very good grip. Once being into a size that fits properly, they are quite comfortable. Again, I stress that I really like how light they are. The laces that come with these actually stay tied pretty well too, they're kind of a stretchy shoelace, maybe that's what helps them stay together. All I know is that they haven't come undone. Being a drummer, I always look for a shoe that is light, comfortable, and doesn't have a real thick sole. I need to be able to feel the bass drum and hi-hat pedals beneath my feet and having too thick of a sole throws that feel off substantially. So far these seem to be good for that. Not quite as good as some of the New Balance and skateboard sneakers I've worn in the past, but that could also be because they're still breaking in. Time will tell how long they last. My feet tend to destroy shoes, but that doesn't keep me from wearing them till they're absolutely shot.

Good sturdy shoe. After 30k miles or so the sole breaks in 2. This is my 4th pair of these shoes since they last so long

I used to own this shoe but an older version. I wore it with blue jeans and it adds a classy casual look for men whom value looks. However, the shoe I purchased lacks in the area of comfort. I will be adding a shoe insole to this item once I find one that feels good. This shoe is an awesome design! I like the other leather color options as well. I'm so pleased with my purchase that I've been considering applying some sort of leather protectant / water / moisture proofing cream to the shoes in order to protect them. However I don't want to darken the color of them. I may add more input once I've added comfortable insoles and the cream. I can't comment on how the existing shoes withstand water or moisture (for instance worn in the winter months where snow is present in your area) so perhaps I'll hold off until next summer and see how they hold up. All in all, these shoes are very "sexy" looking but you should consider insoles if you value comfort more than looks. To me, these shoes are still worth the extra time to "upgrade" with insoles because I really like them a lot and they are worth the extra time, at least to me, to add to the way they feel on my feet.

I love these shoes! I've had them a couple months and wear them every day. I read complaints about quality but I'm not having any issues. I tend to suffer from extra warm feet and these would get my feet too warm. I removed and replaced the insoles. They are glued in so be careful during removal. The original foam insoles were glued to a plastic insert which seemed to trap heat. Once I removed them and replaced them with a name brand insoles, the heat trap was about like any other shoe. The tread is unusual... almost like rubber cleats and they are pretty ruff on my truck floor mat; however, they also give me excellent grip when I'm climb in or out of my semi truck. They look best in blue jeans and OK in shorts. My wife says they look good in shorts too but meh.... I also added "no tie" and stretchable shoe laces for slip on/off. One note, if you remove the original plastic insole, the shoe will have less sole protection when stepping on small pebbles, etc. I'll probably buy these again when my current pair are done.
