Joico Daily Care Treatment Shampoo, 10.1 Ounce

I've been using this shampoo for about a month now and my hair has never looked or felt better. I should start by saying that I have psoriasis over a good portion of my scalp and for about 40 years have tried just about everything out there in terms of shampoos (Apple-Cider Vinegar, tar-based crap, etc. etc.). The steroid lotions, cremes and gels are a separate issue, but to find a shampoo that doesn't make you nauseous from the disgusting smell, cleans your hair effectively and doesn't make your scalp feel like you want to take a garden rake to it.....well, that's a little more difficult to find. This shampoo finally did all that. I'm not saying that my psoriasis is suddenly cured....no such thing unfortunately. However, my hair is clean, shiny and bouncy, my scalp doesn't itch and I don't have to hold my breath while I shampoo. This shampoo is thinner than most products so just keep that in mind when you tip the bottle or like me you'll end up with more than you expected in your palm. It has a light herbal-botanical scent that's very pleasant without the overpowering scents associated with most brand-name shampoos. So.... big surprise to find that a company like Joico.... whose other shampoos and conditioners I tried and disliked.... actually came up with a product that lives up to its hype. Very nice stuff!!PS Got the conditioner at the same time....very good product too!!

Update: My hair continued to get worse, so I switched to some argan oil shampoo. My hair feels normal again! I know this works for many people, but for some reason it did the opposite for me of what most people said it did for them.Let me start by saying, I have very thick, frizzy, curly hair. I have been struggling with fry hair for a while and I have psoriasis of the scalp, so my doctor recommended Joico. I was using T/gel which worked wonders for my scalp but left my hair dry. I was also using some shampoo with Argan Oil that seemed to work good for my scalp. I've been using this for maybe a week and my psoriasis has come back. Although my hair looks longer and shinier, it still feels kinda dry? I'm going to keep using it and see what happens but if my scalp continues to act up, I won't be able to. I'll update this review when a little more time has passed by.

I’ve been a stylist since 1987 and I love this product. Always have, always will as long as joining doesn’t change the formula. It was always my top seller; especially for people with skin and scalp issues. It can be used as a soap for sensitive skin, psoriasis or excema. It’s amazing. I’d buy a gallon if they had it.

Hair and scalp feel clean and smooth and silky after using this product. Highly recommend

this is awesome shampoo; i wish i could have gottne the larger bottle. I have been using this shampoo for about 8 years. at the time, my hair was thinning slightly, but subsequently, this shampoo has allowed hair to fill out and thicken. it is great!
