Light weight metal
This is very nice, with the aluminum material and still as light as the plastic one. Loved it and it is screwed inside of the lens so very well made.

Sturdy and simple
This hood fits perfectly on my small camcorder. When I purchase the camera I made sure it had a threaded lens. The hood, which is sturdy and simple threads on to the CPL (polarizing) lens and protects it and makes it easy to rotate. It is further protected by the included 62mm lens cap which came with the hood. It does seem to improve the video image in sunlight. It does not vignette with my wide angle setting in the camcorder. All in all a very affordable and valuable investment.

Pequeño, barato, pero cumple su función
Es pequeño, ligero, pero de buen material, es un aluminio supongo, el único detalle a considerar es que en el caso al menos del lente sony 16-55mm no se puede poner la tapa del lente si esta puesto este accesorio. De Alguna forma también protege al lente ya que el lente queda "al fondo" pero bueno, es un punto a señalar. El precio es una ganga.

will built and works great with Samyang/Rokinon AF 35mm F2.8
fits great on the Samsung/Rokinon AF 35mm F2.8, just keep in mind the very small lens cap that came with the lens (which fits on the plastic lens hood will NOT fit, so you'll have to get a 49mm lens cap)

Great hood at a great price.
Use this on a 90mm Leica lens. It's a perfect fit with no vignetting. It's metal and feels well-constructed. Absolutely no complaints.
